Interesting… I see people saying they received some apology email from Ford yesterday about further delays and promising updates going forward every 45 days. I never received any such email, don’t know what that may mean and whether it could be a good or bad sign, or neither. The last communication I’ve had directly from Ford was the email in March I believe that everyone was getting about extended wait times.

Nothing here either.

Well, after 12.5 months, my car is at home, under the carport. I have not had it out of 1st gear or reverse so far.

But it looks f'in amazing. on the trip home yesterday and today got so many thumbs up, waves, people slowing down to pace to take pictures. almost every stop at a gas station there were comments. And I was constantly looking back into the mirror because it is one impressive looking beast. Also constantly breaking into laughter at the hilarity of two engineers figuring out just how we want to a car with 4.5 inches of ground clearance onto a trailer made for a tractor.

Everyone, I hope all of you get your cars. I do not care about the value of the cars being diminished if they build 100,000 of them this year. I did not buy the car as an investment, but to enjoy truly. So I hope each one of you gets yours.

A Reddit user posted one. They are waiting on a GT. Ford apologized for the supply chain issues and said they would send updates every 45 days.

Is the plant shutting down for 2 weeks? I thought they had the summer 2 week shutdown already and have not seen any news about a July shut down.

It is my understanding that they take the first 2 weeks of July off for vacation. I have not heard of it being cancelled.

Yes, shutdown weeks of 7/4 and 7/11 long planned for vacations! Production scheduled to resume 7/18.

I’ve already got my car about done and modded beyond handling package specs. So no I likely won’t take delivery (sales tax would eat up flipping profits) and I’ve not told the salesman that yet. Send me a PM if you want his contact info. Their agreement was to sell to me at MSRP. There were some higher fees but that’s it.

MSRP on this one is $6k higher than my ‘21! So yeah I saved some money.

You car is showing on the Koons site now, price listed is $73,835.00. Hopefully what we discussed will work out. Thanks again for the help
