Hello. Trying to install my dress up kit and after painting the faux head covers in homage to my Shelby's the L side went on fine. However the R side doesn't seem to have much thread. It's like the injector foam is too thick on this side. Tightening down just causes it to tilt.

Thanks

Yes. I do recall having some issues with thread engagement on this side. I recalled that there was additional fasteners with the kit, and did use them in conjunction with what was on the rail to adjust/add spacers to overcome how close it is the the DI pump. I’m sorry about the vagueness of this response as I no longer have that car.

That's a good thought. Use a washer and fastener to squash the foam!

I actually just left the foam insulation off . Doesn't seem to have any harm or foul.

You need to use a washer and nut underneath to keep the dress up kit flat. The plastic piece doesn't stay flat due to the injector foam and there is too much space in the hole of the dress up piece. Good luck!
