Hello. Trying to install my dress up kit and after painting the faux head covers in homage to my Shelby's the L side went on fine. However the R side doesn't seem to have much thread. It's like the injector foam is too thick on this side. Tightening down just causes it to tilt.

Yes. I do recall having some issues with thread engagement on this side. I recalled that there was additional fasteners with the kit, and did use them in conjunction with what was on the rail to adjust/add spacers to overcome how close it is the the DI pump. I’m sorry about the vagueness of this response as I no longer have that car.

That's a good thought. Use a washer and fastener to squash the foam!

I actually just left the foam insulation off . Doesn't seem to have any harm or foul.
