I believe the H pipe is slightly louder than the X pipe based on my research. However, I haven't heard one in person so, it would be difficult to know for sure. I know that there are a couple of CJ Pony Parts videos where Bill made comments on the difference in volume with the H pipe.
I guess it's been a little while since I posted! I had the touring axle backs from Ford Performance installed. It was actually a pain in the posterior because the first set of mufflers that were sent to me were poorly made. The chrome tips with the ford logo were not aligned properly. I ended up...
If you haven't done the swap, it is absolutely worth the 45 min install. With 2018+ you will need the 2018+ GT350 Wheel. I was able to find mine during the holidays when Steeda had them on sale for around $500.
The process is very simple and straight forward as in the CJ video. For me, the...
I just received my axle backs. They are definitely an excellent quality product and look awesome. I will let you know once I have them installed probably next weekend and will load a video.
Hence, my question! There are a lot of 15-17 videos and the Ford Performance Touring setup with the X and H pipe that sound great and seem like just the right volume over stock. But, I don't know if the touring for the 18+ quad exhaust is the same or different. I believe the Borla Touring -...
Hi All,
I am pulling the trigger on the Ford Performance Touring Axle back purchase. I am curious if there are others that have a 2018+ with the Touring Axle Back plus an X-pipe and if they are pleased with the result? There seem to be zero videos with this setup.
The reasons why I am going...
sounds like I could sneak out my neighborhood at 6am at idle after the 45 second warm up. I cold start in my garage with the door closed because the initial start even with the stock mufflers is pretty load with my X pipe. I live in a golf course community with HOA requirements so, I have to be...
I have a 2020 GT/CS with a Ford X pipe plus stock mufflers. I believe it sounds pretty good at low RPMs and I actually have gotten compliments on the sound but, I am looking for a more refined sound as it gets too tinny opening it up above 3K RPMs. I am thinking about the Ford Performance Sport...
I have seen the gauges in the vents and I just don't like them. I really was on the fence about doing the performance pack gauges in the dash with the GT350 gauges. Took me about 6 months to decide after a ton of research. I might just get a mechanical liquid filled fuel pressure gauge and get...
I actually chose the Shelby Gauge Pod because I didn't want to mess with cutting up the HVAC for a cleaner install. I only needed to cut the speaker cover in the center and that is a reality easier part to replace and is pretty cheap. I almost did the factory gauge setup. I also spoke with...
Thanks for the advice! I was already looking at the Max cooling kit and a radiator upgrade because I live in Phoenix. Guess I may need to add the pillar gauge pod as I already have the Shelby Gauge Pod to add Oil and Intake temps. I just installed the Fuel Pressure sensor last night after...
Not worried about the money, I don't have a problem there. I am making sure I am able to get things done if there is an issue with the SC or caused by the SC that wasn't foreseen by the engineers. I don't plan on taking the car to the track and running it full out or dragging it. I am much more...
I am planning on adding a Roush SC and if I can extend the warranty past the 36K that would be great! Is your extended warranty through Ford? or a 3rd party? are there are limitations from the standard 36K warranty?
I tried a connector from Nitrous Outlet that is designed to fit my 2020 for $66 and it leaked like a sieve. The angled design didn't help much either. I will try the one from glowshift and see if that will work. At least it's half the price.
