i have gt pp and wintermaxx dunlops, i was surprised by wheel spin in 1-3 gears, not to the floor pedal but maybe 60-75%... 6k rpm shifts. this was on an old asphalt road, 30-39 deg F. no squealing, but i could feel it. one time a coworker felt it too. this was with tc on and off.

I'm convinced if I had the stock tires on I'd be blowing them off. My Continentals are pretty good
I had the back end slide out on my Perellis last fall. 55*, pavement was slightly damp but not wet. Less than 15 mph in a residential area. Came to a stop perpendicular to the direction of traffic, no one around. Surprised the hell out of me. I put different tires on the next weekend.

I see guys on here driving in the snow on their factory Perellis. Brave men, for sure.

My 2004 Mach 1 had a more violent throttle reaction than my 2016. It has improved with miles though. Still not as reactive. I blame throttle by wire

When I'm rolling at low speed (around 10mph) in 1st gear and I go WOT throttle, I get no wheelspin at all. How the heck can this be? Well, It doesn't seem like I do--is it because of the torsen?

Tires are Conti DWS06's. Is it because of the throttle lag?

Anyone else experience this?
Get you some MT Street comps, you will be all over the road! My car feels like im driving on wet roads all the time, even moderate throttle gets me squirrely. It's so bad that sometimes traction control has trouble reeling it back in. Fun sometimes but it sucks for performance. I would get spanked 0-60 by a stock ecoboost that can get traction.

Yea, they're terrible tires. They grip fine once they got some heat in them, but until then, they'll slide easily. Not very confidence inspiring. Can't wait for them to wear out so I can justify some new tires.

They're fun to slide around sometimes though.

Last month I replaced my "wheelspin at any speed" summer P-Zeros for Conti DWS06's. My 1st 0-60mph run with the DWS06's on a wet road was 0.1sec faster than the best time I got with the summer P-Zeros under ideal conditions.

They do perform well.
