I think that whomever setup the eSourceBook may have used the GT350 tire sizes as far as the 295/305 is concerned. I am really going to be pissed if my car shows up 295/305 tires.

Haha, me to now! The picture of the base wheel with 305 mounted is promising. Now, what we need, is for someone who encounters a base model to find out what size tires are on it. While they are at it, it would be nice to see some interior pictures of the front and rear seats and the base dash.

Kill joy lol. Maybe accurate, but still a kill joy haha.

I will say I do think base cars can and will be ordered with painted stripes, so seeing them in the wild is not out of the realm of possibility. Having a "golden ticket" allows one to select painted stripes and carbon fiber track pack OR just one of the two options
Lol you are right. I’m still bitter I couldn’t get iconic silver with a painted black stripe.

Oh man, with the sad news of a probable February build week, this is outstanding! I will continue to "hope" this is the case, just so I don't break down and cry if it's not.

I agree with you my friend. I also wanted the painted stripes on my Ford Performance blue.

2016 Shelby GT350, 2017 Ford Focus ST, On Order 2020 CTFP Shelby GT 500 with POTTS. Car is released and awaiting shipment. I am running out of time before having to leave for Japan on July 29th.
I have two questions. If about 1250 of the cars can have either the CFTP and or the painted stripes I wonder how many will end up having both the CFTP and the painted stripes? Second how will the painted stripes be determined...will the base cars get painted stripes that CTFP people didn’t get?

My understanding is that the "Golden Ticket" allocation is predicated on the CFTP being a standard option with Painted OTT stripes not being mandatory and that none of the 4 seat cars will have the option for ordered OTT Painted stripes.

Who knows how many CFTP owners will elect to order the Painted Stripe Option but would suggest that the majority of CFTP owners will go with that option.

I personally did not go with the Painted Stripe option and suggest that I am in the minority.

Before I passed my allocations I confirmed with regional rep(happens to be neighbor) POTS was a golden ticket option with or without CFTP. Capacity for both will be used alone or as a combo. Base cars with POTS could end up being super rare.

POTS have the potential to be mor trouble than they are worth. Do you think Ford will keep offering them? I wonder how many people are going to cough up 10g for them? I ordered both but I cringe thinking two options costs as much as my Focus ST.

I specifically asked this question of the largest Shelby Retailer in the US and was told no OTT Painted Stripes on Base Vehicles nor will the option be reallocated. I have yet to find a confirmed Base Vehicle Order having OTT Painted Stripes and a valid VIN.

I did go with the OTT Painted Stripes to focus on a collectible classic show vehicle with all factory options including the $3,000 Technology Package. At $10,000, the OTT Painted Stripes will not necessarily be in the majority; especially after a $18,500 hit for the CFTP.

I suppose it comes down to preference, especially to the serious collector and competitor.

If that is the case the number of POTS CFTP cars will be a totally random number depending on how many people who buy CFTP cars want the POTS. It will be interesting when the numbers are final.

And the fact that the GT500 2.65L SC alone has more positive displacement than the 2.0L Focus ST... :like:

I really wanted POTS, which is a bummer to me that I could not get them. Ten thousand is a lot to swallow, but I would have if I could have.
