Sorry no explanation but what I can tell is it’s a mistake on the Ford ordering system I believe that only the CFTP are coming with those. Not sure if anyone that is from Ford has clarified this if so someone please correct me.

Its not just my order, a friends a well. He also ordered the handling package. I am quite sure its an error, but man do I want to be wrong haha!

Does anybody have an explanation for my order sheet listing 305/315 30 series tires on a base car? I ordered the handling package, would that trigger the larger tires and we just haven't heard officially yet?
It appears that the base cars have 295s in the front and 305s in the rear.
However handling pack cars may very well be getting 305s in the front and 315s in the rear.
Below is a recent picture of a base car with the handling package.
It has 305s in the front so I assume it would have 315s out back.
If so this might be enough for me to get the handling package.

Jaime: Well, I guess that either Ford opted to do that and forgot to include it in the eSource document or, you got a FREEBIE! Seems reasonable that Ford would do this considering the title of the package.

Fingers crossed this and more information was either purposely, or accidentally left off that eSource document.

Did anybody here order the base without the handling package? If so, what size tires are listed on your sheet?

I think Ford failed to update the order guide and ESourcebook. According to all the VOCs I have seen the only difference between the tires on the CFTP car and base cars is CUP2 vs PS4s, the tire sizes are the same. I ordered a base model without handling package and the VOC says the tires are 305 front and 15 rear.

We have also seen painted stripes on base models (iconic silver had some amazing ones) so I wouldn’t take what we see in the wild as something that we can/will get with our orders.

OK I also just went back and looked and it seems everyones order has 305/315. Since the picture was found showing 305 on the front of base wheels I would venture to say the brochure may be wrong. That answers my next question about cup 2 vs non cup 2. I do not want cup 2 so hopefully the tires on the base are 305/315 but are MPSS 4s tires.

Kill joy lol. Maybe accurate, but still a kill joy haha.

I will say I do think base cars can and will be ordered with painted stripes, so seeing them in the wild is not out of the realm of possibility. Having a "golden ticket" allows one to select painted stripes and carbon fiber track pack OR just one of the two options

If the dealer wanted to use his Golden Ticket on the painted stripes, he has that capability.

Edit, I thought I was on the last page when I typed this.

Right, but it makes no reference to what size tires come on the base. That and its from June so I wonder if things have changed. At this point all we can do is wait.... and hope.

I think that whomever setup the eSourceBook may have used the GT350 tire sizes as far as the 295/305 is concerned. I am really going to be pissed if my car shows up with 295/305 tires.
