That is definitely worth considering, might be the next step after I let the ford service department jerk me around some more during this next appointment. After the appointment on September 2nd, depending on what they say, I'll probably see what happens with octane booster and a tank of 93. However, I am getting close to saying screw it and just trade it in and let the dealership deal with it. This Is my third Mustang and I’ve hadn’t had too many issues with the other two and when there were issues, they were resolved pretty quickly.You're getting a good amount of knock. You could buy a datalogger/tuner and log some runs and then submit them to a tuner to see what they think would be causing it and then get a tune.
Most dealers wont go that deep unless theres a CEL. And even with warranty youre lucky to get anything done, and or done correctly.
