LTH, tune for e85, lighter wheels (pp1 or freaking boat anchors), Baer Eradispeed light weight rotor replacements for the heavy rotors that come with the Brembo kit on the pp1, QA1 Carbon Fiber drive shaft, something sticky out back like 555r (can still actually handle rain despite being a DR) and you'll be golden.
Or do that on an A10 and have a NA beast :)

Better grip will add quickness to your times. I went fbo and nos before, but I wanted a consistent quick car so I went FI. I got tired filling up the nos bottle or just loud fbo. I can actually hit 3 sec or so every time with my car atm so no regrets.

You buy the M6 for the experience, not the numbers. Other than bragging rights I dont see the point of going for a certain 0-60 time. Trapping over 120 in the 1/4 would be a more worthwhile pursuit.

Nitto 555R is money for sure lol.
Just wish they came in 315. Had to give up my 315 555 G2 to get them in little 305s lol. But damn is night and day difference in traction.

I agree with Ice above. You don't buy the M6 for the 0-60 mph. You buy it because you want to row your own gears. What does it take to get a M6 Mustang to under 4 sec 0-60; I would say lots of horsepower, lots of modifications, such as half shafts, grippy tires, and lastly lots of driver skills...and...ready for it.....it probably won't happen often. The M6 is not a stop light racer if that is what you are looking for. If you want to race someone, lure them into the 60-70 mph territory and then drop the hammer. To be honest, there are a whole lot cars that will show you tail lights in the 0-60. Get them to go for a half mile or so and things will change, That is just how it is. I know what Roush and everyone else says the car will do, unfortunately it is very hard to replicate. The other unfortunately thing is the stop light racers are not going to run hard past a half mile or so, so you won't get a chance to show them how you can catch and pass them.

Tunes alone are only worth 10-12 rwhp
Wait, what? Dunno who tunes you but mine was 37 hp.

Others: A10 isn't the be all, end all. It's quicker than a manual sure. But mod for mod you're putting more power to the ground with the MT-82. Hole shot a A10 and you got him all day long. Ask me how I know.

To the O/P, MT-82 D4 for sub 4 sec 0-60 stiff wall 27" bias plies w/ 4.09 gear. On the street get a lotta heat into the tires and 4000 rpm launch. Quick shift into 2nd, DO NOT power shift. Cheers.

I don't have slicks but I do have Mickey Thompson Street Comps and nope to the under 4 sec 0-60.

I found a PP2 for sale but was like 8 hours late, sold for $33k with 8k miles one owner 2019 car. So beautiful.

So those of you with blower kits and tunes and wider wheels, you sub 4 0-60? Or do you need slicks to do this and it's bordeline impossible on the street without f***ing with gearing as others above describe?

Every Youtube video I've seen from tuners are 10-14 rwhp. Not sure how you got 37 hp from a tune alone (not counting E85), but that's pretty impressive.

And mod for mod an M6 is putting about 1% more power down compared to an A10. Hardly worth trading for the huge advantage in acceleration the A10 gives over the M6. I'm not sure what you mean by "hole shot", but if that means get the jump from a dig, then I can see how a stock A10 wouldn't catch your modified M6.

I sort of chuckle when reading this because bone stock with my '18 GT PP1 I personally did 0-60 in 3.80 seconds in my A10 with Michelin all season A/S 3+ in sport+ mode (tires spun too much in drag mode on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts w/ the all seasons). Not trying to start a fight here, serious question: What's the point of all your hp if you can't even use it - even w/ Mickey Thompsons?

Was that on the built in 0-60 meter? Guy is probably using the built in which reads significantly slower than a dragy or other method

Every Youtube video I've seen

And mod for mod an M6 is putting about 1% more power down compared to an A10.
I know your a very knowledgeable guy, however getting your info from youtubers who 'just blew up my GT350' isn't the best source. And you 1% again, dunno where that came from. more like 20 or so rwhp advantage.

No, I watched PBD and Lund videos, directly from the guys themselves. Lund made 12 rwhp IIRC, and I think PBD made 14 rwhp with his tune. My memory of the exact numbers may be off, but they are in the ballpark.

Regarding the 1%...I think the A10 is around 12% drivetrain loss, and the M6 around 11%.
