Hello,

I'm trying to purchase the jumper harness part # JR3Z-14A411-J but it seems to be on National Back order. Anyone know where I can get one or maybe have one that they want to sell?

Anybody looking to do this, I just did this by cutting the motor open with a razor blade, removed the circuit board, and soldered wires directly from the motor to electrical connector pins. My mufflers fortunately came with the harness. Theres a grommet on the 2017 and you can install the 2018+ harness there. As for the valance, the shop installed the mufflers like 1/2" to 1" offset towards the outside, cut the existing valance clean and centered, and welded new exhaust hangers on the mufflers. Looks fine, not planning on changing the valance.

Was doing a bunch of research on how to wire everything up to a 2015 and it was much to complex for my liking so I did some research and found a kit that is fully plug and play bolted up the motors it came with and surprisingly enough most active exhaust motors are the same size the kit came with 2 buttons a control module and 2 motors for $150! Bout to throw them on my corsa extreme active exhaust once the exhaust springs come in! So hype to finally find a way to make this plug and play on any 15-17!

Figured I'd add my newly found info here:

If you're supercharged and keep the valves closed it will cause problems with power, the exhausts don't flow enough in a closed state for the amount of air going into the engine.

(I'm using a dual polarity switch to open/close)

2018 Mustang GT PP1 Base: I only have the evap plugged in below. Would this harness be on the path I need to take for getting this going for my ride?
Did you ever get your 18 working with AE using this harness?

Not yet. I'm going to get back on it finally. I have purchased the harness parts though.
Do you have the connector in your trunk? I’m starting to think that’s only there for 19+. On my car the harness goes straight though the trunk to the evap.

I have the evap plug below. The other stuff that I have can be made to work from what I was told. I'm going to talk to Jahlil of Velocity Motorsports out of Valdosta, GA

Mine is the same as yours.

The plug from the evap can be replaced with one that controls the evap and the active exhaust. That is what I did. But I use the harness from a gt500 and removed the connection for the rear dif cooler. I tried to explain the whole thing on page 56 or 57

Done! I found some local that had the JR3Z14A411H harness still attached, which was great as those are on order everywhere. The J harness was available but I wired without it, like everything else I couldn't wait. The bottom picture above is the plug in the back of the trunk that the evap lines go to. The AE stuff terminated into that plug, so I used wire splices to tap into that loom, then some bullet fittings to plug into. I also used taps in the J harnesses coming off the mufflers; so sort of made a harness in place of the J harness. I got an updated tune from LUND, loaded that, then went into forscan and into the IPC, filtered by exhaust, then I activated tuneable exhaust; and it works. I started at 730pm, and was done by 1100pm. This included having to cut the resonator off to fit into my current exhaust, mount it, then do all the wiring, and loading the tune and IPC. It wasn't bad, excited to drive it tomorrow.

One thing I will add, when I asked my exhaust guy about getting me some takeoffs he highly recommended against doing this. He said he has seen many cars at the strip throw codes as on the launch the exhaust moves back and the wires crimp or scrape on the back on the car. When I was mounting the exhaust it was obvious where there could be interference. I used a BFH to motivate the offending pieces of metal to get out of the way, should not have an issue now as I have plenty of clearance. Unless you are under the car, with the exhaust off you'd never know I did this; so don't be scared.
So from the gray plug I need to do my connection right?

i have found this plug and it seems to be the same

Hi

I have subscriptions to ford service wiring manual and I am looking the this connector number so I can know which wires to be connected
IMG_6789.webp

this connector has 6 input wires and 2 output going to EVAP so I assumed that the remaining wires will be to the actuators.

Start reading from page 55 and up all the information you need is there.
