The RS will hopefully fulfill the hatchback-void the new WRX (sedan only) left. However my biggest concern is going to be price.
Current Focus ST is in the 25k to 29k range. Seeing as the RS is AWD with an all new motor and interior refresh. I can't see it being under 35k.
Early estimates are in the 40k range which is (imo) hard to justify.
There's so many other cars even in the Ford line up (40k is GT money).
I never really understood the RS, I'd rather get a cheaper hot hatch (GTi, ST, WRX sedan) and still have a great time/value, than spend entry luxury/pseudo-sport car money on a super ver. ST?
Still, I'm glad Ford is making the RS, at least they'll be more goodies for the EB.
