When I bought my EB I was actually shopping for a Focus ST. There were two things that pushed me to the Mustang; the tight Recaro seats and the Fuel Tank.

The ST is rated very similar to the EB Mustang for Fuel Economy but the Mustang has a 15.5 gallon tank and the ST has 11 (I think). The ST forum has complaints of only getting between 200 and 250 miles to a tankful; that is what I get on my motorcycle. My EB Mustang is where it should be at about 375 to 425 miles to a tank. I did not want to be stopping that often for fuel.

I have no idea how large the tank is on the RS and I expect the FE to be slightly worse than the ST. With AWD and other braces for the suspension I cannot imagine a larger fuel tank than the ST unless an aux tank is fitted somewhere. We will have to wait for the details but the range of the car concerns me at this point. Other than that, what a BLAST it is going to be.
I cannot confirm this. I own a 15 ST and it fits about 14.5 gallons of fuel. Slightly less than the Mustang. I am at 27 miles per gallon with it (and I drive it full speed on the Autobahn daily). Both the ST and the Eco are awesome. That's why my daily driver is the ST and the Mustang will be my weekend ride :)

The ST comes with Recaro seats as well btw. They are awesome.

Some people don't care what others think of their car ;) I buy cars for me and not for others. If you buy a car to get girls then the RS is probably not for you though, I agree.

Why not both :headbang: (my two babies, love the hatch for road trips(43 mpg and SO comfy) and due to the f-sport package it somehow handles way better than my EB:mad:)

I think you'll find a lot of people will disagree with that statement.

The hot hatch market is huge and it's getting even hotter.

Haha I guess it depends on where you're from and who you are. I wouldn't even let my own gf catch me in one because she would laugh for sure

Ok ppl seem to be getting hurt feelings now. A. I certainly don't need a car to get girls. B. I've been with my own girl for 6 years and I drove a Ford fusion before this car.

I'm just saying that in my opinion they are in no way cool/sexy/polarizing in design which is why I would never buy one. Handling just isn't that important to me

Did the fuel tank change for 2015? Gosh, the ST forums are full of range complaints. I just assumed there was no changes from the 2013-2014 vehicle. Thanks for the update.

Exactly what I was thinking :cool:
That's exactly why I have a 15 Focus ST as my daily driver and ordered an Eco as my weekend ride. Love em both!

I have no idea. Are they maybe talking about the Fiesta ST? My ST fits 55 liters exactly where the Mustang fits 59 liters. So like one gallon of a difference.
