If you buy cars for girls, you have no personality and are the text book definition of a tool lol. As said, buy the car for your own tastes, not someone else's. I know I do.
My mom tried to push bmw's and stuff onto me since I wasn't really getting girls and thought it would help prior to seeing the Mustang

She meant well, just I'm too much a car fanatic to sell out and I'd rather attract the right girl than all the gold diggas.

When I bought my EB I was actually shopping for a Focus ST. There were two things that pushed me to the Mustang; the tight Recaro seats and the Fuel Tank.

The ST is rated very similar to the EB Mustang for Fuel Economy but the Mustang has a 15.5 gallon tank and the ST has 11 (I think). The ST forum has complaints of only getting between 200 and 250 miles to a tankful; that is what I get on my motorcycle. My EB Mustang is where it should be at about 375 to 425 miles to a tank. I did not want to be stopping that often for fuel.

I have no idea how large the tank is on the RS and I expect the FE to be slightly worse than the ST. With AWD and other braces for the suspension I cannot imagine a larger fuel tank than the ST unless an aux tank is fitted somewhere. We will have to wait for the details but the range of the car concerns me at this point. Other than that, what a BLAST it is going to be.
I have a 2014 ST. 12.9 gallon tank and I average 27 MPG and pull 290 to 300 per tank just as an FYI. If I really push my luck I can stretch to 330 but that is probably close to pulling fumes out of the tank :)

Y'all make me wonder sometimes. Cars alone won't attract girls anyway unless you drive a Ferrari. But I'll be the guy that says I like girls to like my car. Because I like girls

anybody that pays 35k+ for this car is crazy
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I sure hope there are 'crazies' out there that will so I can get a used one some day.

Considering the fact that a lot of petrol heads wanted the RS in America for the last few years, $35k is a small price to pay, especially since it's gonna be made in Germany.

Anyone know if the RS is going to be a limited production vehicle? If it is limited in any way the Stealerships will have a field day with markups.

I think $35k sounds right. This car is a direct competitor to the Golf R which starts out at $36k. What will be interesting to see is how the options play out. The Golf R comes with just about everything for the starting price and is still under $40k completely optioned out.

Hatches just get you attention from nut swingers.
I don't care. If my car is half paid off by the time this comes out I'm getting one.
