Exactly and in the article I linked Ford admitted to making a mistake the way they tested in house and once they got on the same page with the EPA they corrected what they did wrong.EPA tests aren't bullet proof Chef. Ford has to follow the same guidelines as every other manufacturer when submitting a test vehicle. Same goes for actual testing of the vehicle. If they got better numbers initially during EPA testing that weren't realistic then they have the option to lower them, themselves. Maybe Ford knew the testing results were inflated, maybe they didn't. However it doesn't mean they forged the test results. Just sayin.
