Find another place with an ASE mechanic to install.
I'm very happy with $260 to install this and keep my warranty! Seems like a pretty good price based on what people said in this thread.

FWIW I am being charged 2 hrs @ 130/hr by a local Ford dealer to install.
I am being charged a more reasonable price by a local ASE certified non-dealer mechanic. In fact my car is right now in the shop for the install.

Shall update when its done.

I misunderstood I thought they were charging for 5 hrs. Galpin charged me $350.

Yeah that was the original dealer I bought the car from, great dealer, just not so interested in doing this job.

Hi guys. Does anyone know if you can buy the new hose separately and if so, is there a part #? I just bought a used gt350 intake from a member here and I have the same issue. Thank you.

In case anyone was wondering, the FP passenger side air-oil separator does not fit with this kit. The mounting bracket prevents the slectrical connector from being installed on the trottle body. Even with the bracket removed, the body of the air-oil separator will rest directly on the electrical wires.

I found this out after my kit was installed and even posted about it.

FP has confirmed this as well. We are adding notes to both products at this time. We are sorry but this information was not originally made available on FP's site.

Thanks Benny!

It's not a huge deal. Kind of comes with the territory when it comes to fitment and mods.

Do you (or anyone else) know if M-6766-A50S air-oil separator would work with the 5.0 and this power pack?

Also, does FP make a passenger side air-oil separator that would work with this kit?
