Any dealership or ASE certified mechanic can install if that's the route you're going to go.
going to the dealership to pickup the dual horn part tomorrow, maybe i'll inquire on how much they would charge to install this then.

thanks

so.. how does one get this installed exactly? can any ford dealer do it? should i look for a dealer that specializes in Ford Performance? is there such a thing?

thanks!
It can easily by done by anyone - probably the most difficult thing is the air tube removal, everything else is really really simple - but for the warranty you need a dealership or ASE certified mechanic like AZ18yote mentioned.

Interesting but not sure it's worth it vs. other aftermarket options. The price of warranty...

Edit: Allows gear ratio changes up to 4.09:1. What gear ratio does a stock car allow for? Going from 3.73 to 4.09 will be felt in the seat right?

From the picture in the install instructions it looks like it doesn't have the noise cancelling tube so it's the one used on the GT350? ...

But $1200 ???

So it's just the larger TB, not the GT350 intake, and it's adapted down to the MY17 IM, hmm ... and I guess the cold air intake is the setup on the Bullitt as well, since it's designed to fit in a MY18+ car and the air tube connects directly to this larger TB.

The odd bit for me in this is that its now official that the 87mm GT350 TB is NOT the 87mm TB on the BULLITT. They are separate Ford Performance parts.
I guess with the rumors of the GT350 leaving the stable, they're starting to market things with a model that's continuing (er, assuming the Bullitt makes it past 2020?)

I also have a question: with the GT, the 15-17 (Gen2) vs. 18-20 (Gen3) TBs are not compatible (electronics wise), and with the GT350 being a non-Gen3 platform, are the two 87mm TBs actually the same? I mean, I know it was originally marketed (as used on the Bullitt) as a "GT350 TB", but has anywhere ever tried an actual GT350 part?

Wondering if there hasn't always been some internal differences[?]

aye, only reason i'd consider it is for the warranty.. otherwise i'd just go with one of the other tuners available

i'll probably wait though, let warranty run out and then i can play

Going from 3.73's to 4.09's, which I did, is absolutely felt in the seat. No tuning was required for the 4.09's so I have no idea what they are talking about.

If going that route definitely go e85 tune then. More than double the power for a fraction of the cost. Add other mods to it like LTH and it turns into a beast.

I wonder what the real dyno numbers will be... Hopefully someone gets the chance to dyno their car before and after, with the hood down and posts the results.

Correcting speedometer for rear end ratio change I am guessing.

Nope car automatically adjusted the speedo to account for the 4.09's, that's why I'm not sure what FP is talking about...
