I did not get the impression that it would include a TB, and i challenged him on CAI based on feeling that stock box is good. But he said he thought that it would be a covered Bullit CAI. I'm also hoping for changes to a10 programming. I guess will see.

For me I won’t do anything to the drivetrain that could possibly jeopardize the 5/60 warranty (claims), but once that has run out, it will be a Lund e85 tune, etc. By then I hope I feel like I got a new car given how much torque/horsepower will be increased.

Last update said around March, so that sounds about right. I’m very curious too. It appears they’ve put a lot of time on this.

They sounded very proud on that old American Muscle vid and that was over a year ago. I imagine they’ve made some improvements since then.

For me it is the concern of something breaking and Ford stating they won’t honor a warranty claim due to that FRPP tune(or any other tune). (No matter if the tune caused the issue or not).

But if you're in the first 3/36, FRPP will cover your car if there's ever a time Ford won't. That's the whole point of these tunes, that there is 100% backing even IF the tune causes the damage.

Sure, but after the 3/36 is up then I have to rely on the 5/60 Ford warranty. That won’t bother some folks, but I’m more conservative... well I say that.. if it is a significant power bump I may talk myself into it.

I would not expect too much from a pump tune hp wise. 10-15 whp. From a person that has actually driven a custom (data logged) performance 93 tune (on an 18 gt a10) the E85 tune is night and day imo. That is a 35-40 whp gain alone.

An open filter setup may be great in cooler air temps, but once weather pops up over 70 degrees not worth it imo. The better question would be whether or not they do any tcu tuning for a10 guys. Especially if your a base non drag mode car. If not, skip.

You people worried about warranty just leave your car stock then and move on...

The Ford Performance site now lists the Bullitt Throttle Body for all 2018-2019 5.0 Mustangs. The listing mentions that this part requires a tune and works with the GT350 intake manifold. I know these parts have been available for a while, I had just not seen them listed in the 2018-2020 section until today. Could this mean that the power pack kit with tune should be coming soon?

That is the understanding I'm under. The info I have pieced together is that it is going to be a TB, CAI, and a tune. My guess is this TB, a Bullitt CAI with a lid, and a Bullitt (hopefully Bullitt+) tune. It will be different from the Bullitt because we don't have the GT350 IM. So we should see some different results. We'll see. I have been told that the Ford engineer to did the tune is proud of it. Hopefully that is not just talk.

I'm not the brightest bulb on the string, but I see the Ford Racing Performance Pack for the 18-19 Ecoboost Mustangs is available. Maybe it's been there a while.

This FRPP ups the little 4 cylinder quite a bit, a claimed 35 HP and an impressive 76 ft. lbs. of torque. I realize Ford can play with the boost as part of the upgrade to make things happen with this kit.

If the 18+ GT can see this kind of HP increase or more, and a like amount or more of torque, this should be an attractive upgrade. If it ever happens . . . . . .

No N/A engine is ever going to see what kind of power increase from a tune alone. You might see 20hp and 15tq at most. Tuning turbo motors is a whole different animal.

EFI,

I ain't the brightest, but I'm not that dim either. Nothing from FRPP is out, so it's all speculative.
