I don't think my body has really unusual proportions, but when I adjust the seat for my legs/feet to be in a comfortable position to work the pedals, the steering wheel is still quite a bit too far away. (Even when telescoped out to its full range.) If I move the seat closer to the wheel, then my legs/knees are jammed into the lower dash. When I bought the car I thought I'd find a seat position that would work, but I'm just gonna have to live with it.

FWIW I have about a 34" inseam, and about a 34" sleeve length, and I'm about 6' tall.

I don't expect anyone to really be able to fix this, I just think it's odd. I don't recall having this problem on prior cars. (Two 4th gen Camaros, a 2004 GTO, and a 2011 Mustang.)

My knees are very close to the steering column in my position too. I could be wrong but I think the 18-19 seats don't go down as low as they used to on the 15-17s. My knees hardly ever bump when getting in so I usually don't pay attention to it but it is a little odd. My dimensions are a little smaller though so my seat probably has to come forward more than yours (5'9"). I can't remember having the same issue in my previous S550 Mustangs though.

I usually find the steering too far away for my preference. With my Bullitt and the Recaro's I find the position perfect. Probably the best driving position I have had in a car for a long time.....

I don't seem to have this issue. My legs are longer than most 6ft tall people. Only time I have an issue is if I'm wearing my work boots which have a large heel for lineman work.

Try a little more upright position?

I’m about your same size. I found the same thing but sitting in a more upright position fixed it for me. It’s not perfect but it’s probably better than what you are dealing with now.

I think the recaros do a better job.

I've adjusted the seating surface to tilt up in front, whidh effectively moves my feet into a better position. More even distribution of weight between tailbone and thighs, as well. Slight decrement in ease-of-entry.
