I think me and my 46-Long torso are probably happiest we went with the regular Premium PCAG seats.

6' and 175 pounds I fit fine but the leg bolster was too low so I added a 3/4" shim under the front mounting feet. I didn't even loosen the rear bolts. just made some solid delrin spacers pulled the seat up slid them in and put in longer bolts. Don't be afraid of a little fitting.

I'm about the same size as the originator of this thread, and I think that getting the position right is imperative. Once set, the seat seems to fit like a glove. I don't let anyone move it because it took me a few tries to get everything the way I like it.

6'3 and 235 recaros fit like a glove. I do 1500-2000 miles a month and love every minute of driving in my Recaros

I tried out the Recaros at a dealer the other day. I'm 6'5" and 233, 38 inch waist and 46 chest. They fit me just fine with plenty of headroom, but I think if you're any bigger around the waist or chest, you're not going to fit.

You will be fine, I'm 5'10 210 and they fit me very nicely...

Wow, not what i was wanting to read about those seats. I got a new mustang on the way with cloth recaros. Im 5'11", 215 lbs and ive only had test drive time in a base gt with standard seats. I found those seats to be very comfortable. Read somewhere about the14my recaros being very nice. So I thought 15my seats probably built same way.

5'11, 190 lbs my Recaros are perfect, no long trips yet but for day-to-day driving I'm glad that I opted for them...

sat in a set of recaros at the dealer a few days ago, im 6'1 200lbs. Really wish I would have gotten them :(, I do like the heated and cooled seats in the premium but I would trade them in a heartbeat for some factory recaros.

The recaros also break in. At 601/180 i thought they were really tight in my lat and shoulder area. After a thousand miles of driving and a hundred entries and exits of the vehicle they began to break in. At this point they fit like a glove. Worth the price.

I followed some of the suggestions on here and I think I have made it a little better. Reclining the back of the seat slightly more than I would normally and then telescoping the wheel out helped out quite a bit.

I feel like an idiot. I ran the car yesterday at Gridlife, and never figured out how to adjust the seat or telescope the wheel. I was uncomfortable all day. I'm 6-1, 215. My head was rubbing the ceiling and my knees were by the wheel. Shoot, now I fit like a glove!!

Do any of you guys feel like your 2015 Mustang has an uncomfortable driving position? First off, I am big dude 6'1" 300lbs so I'm sure that's part of it. I feel like I just cant get my seat adjust right to make the pedals and wheel in a comfortable position. Also I feel like if I sit up even close to straight my head is touching the roof. The odd thing is, my last Mustang was an 04 Cobra and I had no issues with that car. Sure it was a tight fit but I was still comfortable. I also rented a hertz penske 2014 Mustang GT (with recaros) last year on vacation and it was probably the most comfortable Mustang I've driven. I love everything about my 15 except the driving position/ fit ect. Anybody else feel like this? Is there anything I can do get my seat to sit lower to the floor? Let me know, Thanks.
Then do not dare and get the regular seats. The standard seats sit much higher in its lowest position. I am also 6.1 and I couldn't get the standard seats low enough for me, it gave me the fish bowl feeling sitting to high.

One of the only reason I would get the recaros is to sit in a lower position. less foam padding, which I prefer because the standard seats were too soft for me.

I went for a ride tonight with the seat and wheel properly adjusted...again, I feel dumb for not figuring this out sooner, but it was like a whole new ride. I'm really happy I finally fit right!!!

Yeah, Ford really changed the seats and made them for small people in the latest generation. I'm 6' 4" and about 230 and I'm sitting partially on the bolsters in the seat bottom. The bolsters in the seat back also don't let me settle all the way back into the seat. That was one thing I always loved about the Mustang in the past; the seats were made for larger people.

This is with the standard GT seats, not even the Recaros. I sat in a car with the Recaros and it was absolutely no go.

I agree Ford also raised the seats in the latest models. When I got out of my 2011 and sat in the 2015 I wanted about 3 or 4 more pumps on the lowering lever to get down farther in the car. The high seating position does improve visibility in parking lots, etc. though. I don't think I'm as long-waisted as you, so I never had any trouble with my head on the ceiling. I would like more adjustment on the telescoping steering wheel, though. If I have the seat forward enough to reach the steering wheel easily, my legs are bent more than I would prefer. They are minor complaints, though.

I'm used to it now, so for me it wasn't a huge deal. There are a lot of other things I really love about the 2015, so I'm glad I bought it.
