I agree that the seat is marginally too high - true in the base seats as well as the Recaros. I'm 6'4" and I find that the steering wheel doesn't telescope out enough either, so I have to either sit with my legs curled up or sit more upright than I would prefer.

I've chosen to just leave it alone and get used to it, but you could remove the seat, look at the brackets and come up with a way to modify them. Owners of classic Mustangs also sometimes modify the seat pans - the sheet metal component that the seat sits on. You would have to pull the carpet up and look at the structure of your car to determine whether something like that is an option.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here, but after seeing how many responses there are from people unhappy with the seats, I have to ask: didn't you all sit in the car before buying it and realize then that they would be too tall for your liking?
Sure did. But decided I'd be happier if I didn't buy a Camaro instead. :clap2:

Of course we did, but it didn't stop me from buying as the rest of the car is very good, including its looks...At this point it raising a concern and awareness a bunch of us have and maybe someone in the aftermarket will come up with a solution.

I'm 6'6" 215 lbs, but I've got long legs. I felt like the seat was fine in both the Recaros and the regular seats for fitment when I test drove two GT Premiums. This car has more legroom than most regular cars do.

My wife felt the Recaros were more comfortable on her back than the regular seats which I found shocking. She has a bad back with a fusion done in the lower right area. We both compromised on the cooled seats though when it was 90 degrees outside.

6'6 250 here and I have zero issues with fitting in the Recaros or the height adjustment  Mine is set either at the lowest height setting or pretty damn close to it.

Have you noticed that the passenger seat is able to go lower than the drivers side? I found this on my GT Premium non Recaro

I saw that....personally would just be surprised if there was that big of a height difference between the two. Now I'm curious lol. I did test drive premium and base GTs with standard seats and don't remember being cramped. That being said I didn't have much seat time in them either

If you were talking to me I honestly haven't messed with it much. My wife is 5'4 and shes the main passenger - I will mess with the seats tonight and see. Not sure what the purpose of one going lower would be
