Are you doing it just for the satisfaction of running motor? Is there any reason you don't want to just slap a blower on? I would assume cams and head work are equal to or more expensive than a blower. For now I'm doing cams, corn, and most of the valve train. If I'm not happy after this it'll be PNP and a valve job,
With just bolt ons, I'm coming up to blower prices. Are you doing it just for the satisfaction of running motor? Is there any reason you don't want to just slap a blower on? I would assume cams and head work are equal to or more expensive than a blower.
I really need to come check out your operation. If I'm not happy with the results from the cams/valvetrain, we have business to discuss. Most all of us will never stop improving on what we have. Why not do the motor first, then you have a substantial gain over a "bolt the blower on" car when you drop one on yours. That is my way of thinking.
Besides that, I port heads and I always push that effort. I just done a set of Harley heads and intake that are going to the dyno in Houma today, we are looking for 130hp.
That is some impressive driving. I am hoping to run something close to what you are running since we will have similar mods. I think my car may weight a bit more. On my last run it was 3860 with the stock wheels and DRs.September-October should be good .
Waiting for some sub +1000 DA . The two fastest times so far were in negative DA last fall/winterDudes car running 121mph on only FF,LTH, JLT is retarded fast.
