16stangGT sorry I never saw this before until 5.0_SD tagged me just now, but yes that's exactly what I meant. The Scoshes and Metra are supposed to look "OEM" but they just look plain and then tack in the aftermarket headunits which aren't as huge of an upgrade as they used to be.

If you check around there are a lot of threads like this one and the Tesla or Moddiction ones. I'm personally waiting for an 8" Android one, super excited for that to come.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2g yesterday! Manufacturer confirmed back-up camera zoom issue is fixed with updated module which is included with new orders. They also have a 2g ram upgrade for $35usd which was recommended a few posts back from another member. Communication has been good via email and they have already shipped my unit out just a few hours after ordering.

Does the 10" still require removal of the Volume and Tune knobs?

Yea you remove the two large volume/tune knobs with this unit. It looks cleaner without those knobs tho imo.
Yeah, I considered getting one, but once I hooked up with the guy doing this Beta program on the 8" models, I got excited. It was the first one I had found with 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage, and retained factory controls. I love my Volume knob lol.

Well I finally have it, no thanks to usps. I had an estimated arrival date of feb 12 thru March 10 so I wasn’t expecting it to show up quickly. Yesterday I finally decided to check on shipping status and found out usps tried dropping it off a week ago on feb 13 and left a “notice” (they didn’t). Went down to the post, picked it up and dug into it when I got home. Everything was packaged well and the outer box wasn’t even beat up. Received it in 6 days from the time I ordered and didn’t even pay for expedited shipping!

It’s in the car! Huge thanks to OP for the video segments and tips because doing this blind isn’t easy. This nav system works perfectly and really gives the interior a really nice look/feel.

That’s why I chose it too. Here’s a few pics from my install along the way. Also shows how small the stock unit really is lol

I love this unit I wish I got the 2gb one though. I don't drive my car which to justify the upgrade though.
