The Steeda thread is too out of control for any real conversation. The Steeda rumor was fabricated by Steeda.
Road and Track is claiming to know a "real insider" who is giving "real" information on the 2015 Mustang weight.
I created this thread to talk about "real" weight rumors.
No, they claim a different insider said Steeda and Autoblog are wrong and gave them specifics. The article is still up, I created a new thread about it, since Steeda knowingly spread false information.

Has anyone mentioned Road & Track claims an insider told them the Mustang GT Premium will gain 250 lbs, the Mustang GT Base will gain 170 lbs, and the Ecoboost & V6 versions will gain 50-70 lbs?
I think I will use the Mustang as a daily driver. It would be a lot easier decision if Ford gave us the option having a sunroof on the Mustang. Then you could have everything you want all in one car. I'm really upset there isn't going to be a sunroof option on this car. I don't want to pay...
I know it's geared towards fuel economy, but Ford has already come out and said at least over 305 HP, which is more than 120 HP/liter, so that's why I was thinking the MKC engine was detuned.
Yeah, I've seen the stretched Fusion mule with the MKS grille. Hopefully the new Taurus SHO comes...
^I thought the second generation Ecoboost engines were supposed to be at 140 HP/liter?
2.3 * 140 = 322 > 305, which is the lowest we can expect from the EB4 in the Mustang.
The 2.3L has a lot more of technology than the 2.0L, including a twin-scroll turbo rather than just the single one on...
Dude, this could be way worse. This is literally the easiest fix you could possibly do on a car. Painting the taillights red from clear is no biggie at all. That is what everyone is doing with the new GT86/ FRS here in the states.
Super easy dude!
Ford's premium stereos are nothing special. The mirrors have blind-spot aids already built in, and electronics can always go bad so you don't want to rely on that little light. Save your money and build a good aftermarket stereo system. You'll save enough to have it professionally installed...
