Finally, we got a dry track weekend and a first true opportunity to really start pushing our 2020 GT500 around MSR Houston since we got it in December of last year (we attempted a track weekend in January with it that was OK, but it rained most of the time 👎). Since that time, I've been pretty...
When did you place your order? We ordered the exact same configuration/color Aug 30, no build date as of yet. Not sure if ours got cancelled or not yet.
I ended up ordering part M-6346612-GT, which is a complete factory kit. Shop around, some places have it much cheaper than others. I ordered mine from Lethal Performance.
Regarding that warning light - I am aware of it, and my plan is to leave as much of the seatbelt system as I can alone...
Just adding some information to the puzzle on the cancelled HP cars. I don't think many folks ordering HP cars opted for the factory rear seat delete, but I know for a fact that the ford rear seat delete is on backorder until at least the end of December. I ordered ford's rear seat delete for...
I can confirm no drilling was required for mine! The GT500 spoiler mounted right up to the existing holes. Removing the sticky tape off the trunk with a heat gun from the original spoiler was the most difficult part.
Nice!!! The Boss 302 trophy is awesome!
The GT500 trophy is really impressive - it is a fully functional, brand new rear brake caliper off of a GT500 - pistons, seals, bleeders and all  . I think my wife takes the win on that one...
Yup we were in the same class! I recognize your silver Mach 1 in your photo that you drove to the school (sharp car by the way and it was nice to briefly meet you!). My wife and I were the ones from Houston that drove the Grey Mach 1 up there that had all the track miles on it.
I did use 4th...
I attended the Mach 1 track attack last week, which I understand was the fourth Mach 1 event to date.
The experience was a lot of fun and got to meet some great people! The instructors and folks running the school are top notch. In my opinion, its worth the trip out to do it.
As a side note -...
So I got the car in today to get looked at. The dealer confirmed it is some kind of contamination/corrosion issue under the paint and documented it. They are going to take care of it thankfully. They won't start the work until I bring it back in a few weeks...it's going with us for a road trip...
That's good to hear about the revised warranty wording - thanks.
The points you bring up are the ones that have me scratching my head. I am pretty sure the door is steel, magnets stick to it (not as strong as on the trunk though). But, I am quite certain these bubbles were not here last time I...
Hi All,
I was giving the Mach 1 a deep detailing today and noticed what appears to be a small area of bubbling under the paint of the passenger door by the stripe. I regularly clean this car after track events and am 100% sure this was not here a month ago.
Full disclaimer - as I just...
I can confirm that the color is Magnetic. Check out the thread I made a little while back when I swapped out the base spoiler with a GT500 spoiler. Magnetic is even noted on the spoiler I pulled off 👍. I'm sure each body shop is different, but the one I used determined it was a "level 4"...
I got the Ford Performance M-6766-A50A oil/air separator. Note that there is another similar model with a similar part number of M-6766-A50 that is for 2011-2017 coyotes - make sure you do not get that one, as it is kinda easy to miss. The mounting points are different between the two.
😂 😂 😂
It's interesting that you brought this up because it is one area that I started looking into possibly "beefing up" a few weeks ago. I suspect the axle shafts on these Mach 1s are the same as what came on the recent GT350 - in which case I am not too concerned since I am only running 300TW tires...
I got the Ford Performance M-6766-A50A oil/air separator. Super easy install, great fit.

The big thing is to make sure the oil level is being maintained (you can see in the catch can how quickly blowby can happen in extreme conditions). Over time, the oil will break down regardless of the fill level and it is important to get it swapped out before that happens. It seems most of the...
Our Mach 1 demanded an oil change at 3000 miles following it's 10th track day and about 1,000 track miles overall.
The oil change was straightforward and thankfully, there is nothing exciting to report. However, given the amount of track abuse this car has had since day one, I thought it would...
It's a solid track car and certainly a good base car if you plan to "racecar" it out.
As someone posted earlier in the thread, I took our Mach 1 out to the track with about 50 miles on the odometer.
Since that time, it's done 10 track days and I've logged about 1,000 track miles on the car -...
I had the same delima and of all places, ended up having good results with discount tire. Many of their shops have touchless hunter machines. Talk to the manager, explain the rims, and then see if they will take on the job under the agreement to do a joint before and after inspection of the...
