I sure did, just ordered it this morning! Sounds like it should be at my front door sometime next week. I also ordered the front fender rock guard/liners/moldings. I'm still on the fence about the bird nest wheels - I've got a set of dedicated track 19x11 Momo Rf-20's on order but may get the...
Update: Photos of the painted and installed spoiler have been posted further in this thread
I thought this might be helpful confirming information for anyone thinking of replacing their base Mach 1 spoiler with the HP/GT500 spoiler.
My OEM GT500 spoiler and Gurney Flap arrived over the weekend...
Apologies for the delay - I've been out of town for the past week.
The car does corner really flat; however, your assumption is correct concerning the front tires rolling a bit. Here are a few photos of the front driver side tire right after the event:
I was running the tires at about 30...
We got the Mach 1 and 2016 GT (with a fresh, 500 mile old clutch) out to the track again this weekend at MSR Houston. This time I was armed with a GoPro Camera that lasted more than 2 minutes and captured more than just a cool down lap! The car is in track mode for this session. I apologize in...
Congrats! It is a hell of a car - I've been impressed above and beyond my expectations.
I am so envious of that black and red - that's what I have on the 2011 GT, but I just don't have it in me to keep up with the cleaning of two black cars! lol
Boy do I have a lot to learn on this aspect. Fortunately I am good with computers but have never had any interest in applying that to cars. Looks like I've got no choice!
I did a quick search and it seems like in some instances, especially with the ABS module addresses you listed, that some of...
Do you happen to know if this would result in a different part number for the VDM and ABS module? Or would it be the same part number, but a matter of recalibrating them to HP specs (if thats possible?)? This is one of my weak areas of knowledge with these cars that I'd like to learn a bit more...
It does not appear that the base Mach 1 has dual fuel pumps. I pulled back the carpet to look for the dual fuel modules that are present in the GT500 and there is nothing there, exactly like the 2016 GT. I suppose its possible they could have been moved, but I doubt it. Let me know if there is...
Happy days...she came home last night. Turns out it was a pin fit issue on the #2 fuel injector wiring harness connector.
Here is what is quoted on the service ticket:
"code p0202 contacted hotline due to vehicle not currently misfiring concern not present other than CEL, ran ppt replaced #2...
Cant we all just be friends? 🙃
Here's a somewhat off topic distraction - look at the savage remains of what used to be the clutch in the 16 GT we had out there as well. It appears the clutch cylinder exploded.
Something never felt quite right with the clutch in that car ever since we got it...
This is exactly what I plan to do, retrofit the handling package components. As a side note, Ford's adjustable camber plates are Ok, but after messing with the ones on the GT500, I now understand why @Epiphany suggested that I look into a set of vorshlag plates. This is probably the route I will...
I suspect the Mach 1 with the handling package is the car you are looking for. I have never driven a 350, but the handling of the Mach 1 feels highly refined in comparison to the GT. It feels just about as balanced as the GT500, but not as fast of course.
This was certainly one of the easier sessions in the video, and you are correct about the PS4S squeal!. We had just blown up the clutch in our 16 GT so I wanted to make sure we left with at least one driveable car lol.
The steering felt tight and gave enough feedback to be more intentional than...
I have not had the opportunity to drive a 350, but I did get to ride as a passenger in one at the track yesterday. Passenger observations are different than what it is like from behind the wheel, but my impression is that it was essentially a faster Mach 1 with bigger brakes (not a criticism of...
To be fair, I have not looked super hard at the strut mounts to see if they are adjustable, but I did a quick visual yesterday and it did not look like they were adjustable. From everything I have heard, the HP is the only offering of the adjustable plates. I will take a hard look tonight to...
