The GT has F street class mods (slightly wider fronts and better tires, rear sways and Koni Yellow, catbacks)

According to comments from the owner, in the hands of an instructor the difference widened to 4+ seconds. M3 owner says he will not keep the M3 long as he is worries about rod...
I was reading the threads and saw BmacIL (thanks for the info below ) mention he is exploring the GT350R springs as an option for handling with a minimum drop (BMR's SP083 has a 1.2 inch front and half inch rear drop. That is the most modest drop I've seen in the handling category...
I park my car outside in my driveway. There are trees nearby - but none directly over (one was trying to reach over and I took care of the bastard) - while the shade is good tree's are kryptonite to a cars finish. I am meticulous with my car, picking up leaves etc and the paint is in top notch...
My baby got broken into right outside my house last night. I didn't hear a thing. I'm feeling violated and really upset, but determined to solve the problem and need your help.
I have the Enhanced Security Package. No alarm went off.
Fortunately, there is no sign of damage to the car/locks or...
I'm getting a rattle sound after installing my Mach XV. The installation is tight and everything is triple checked. It seems to come from the lower rear passenger side, and only after the car has been driven awhile (so when the components are hot). It does not happen when cold. I cant seem to...
I hear the only over heating issue we have with the GT-PP is diff cooling (unlike GM and their Corvettes, which seem to have really suffering. Just ready this today on autoblog, the saga continues)...

To be clear, I think the steering is pretty good in the S550. I would prefer a slightly smaller diameter wheel that preserves factory functionality, but havent seen one yet so might go with the GT350 one (which is same size I believe?).
What I'm trying to do is improve the relatively slowish...
I've got the springs and will get the yellows at some point.
Wanted to hear what people thought of this combo.
On road, bumps, autocross, twisties etc...
I also have a bunch of BMR bushings/lockouts and sways - the car is a lot tighter.
Excited to get the dampers and complete the suspension...
I was going to take the Stang into the dealer for an oil change and ask one of their head mechanics to install the BMR lockouts and BMR/Steed bushings. Also wanted to ask them to change the manual transmission oil - I heard out here that some of the non-OEM oils make the shifting action much...
See signature for parts. I've installed a few things already, but suspension wise this is the first one. My buddy and I didnt get to the front as we ran out of time (we did catback as well, more on that later). It seems the front end links will be harder to get to as well.
Some installation...
I received them - the set of BMR springs says 39 pounds on the box. The fronts are light, the rears at a much higher spring rate and length are heavy. I look forward to installing them once I get to order the Bilsteins or Konis.
Wonder what the weight gain is (if any) Vs OEM PP springs for...
The SKU's are M5570-B and M-5A460-M. I did see 5% off on a few sites and its not that these things are $$'s, but IMHO it hurts to pay $69 and $72, esp the jounce bumpers which are 4 pieces of rubber and in the S197 versions (M5570-A) cost only 29 bucks! Some of the pricing of aftermarket parts...
Can the car be brought to the alignment specs @BMRTech and folks using the SP083 springs (with stock tires or 10 inch wide 285 fronts) without camber bolts?
Thanks,
Most of the suspension stuff is focused on the IRS (bearings, bushings, lockouts etc). Of course, shocks/springs/tires aside (wider front meats will really improve handling), do you guys know of any products that will improve front end feedback/steering feel? Just curious - I do realize the IRS...
Do folks here feel this item makes an improvement in wheel hop and handling (in combination with the CB005).
I am wondering if I can skip on this. The concern is not the money, more on NVH and added weight on what is mostly a street car.
BMR's site mentions ' These are the perfect upgrade...
The ones I ordered are red (but on backorder so I can change the order) and the BMR Site also lists them in red.
I was wondering if the are stocked in black as well.
The yellow and red combo got a bad name since Ronald McDonald did his thing although I guess the springs are barely visible.
Cheers,
My 15 GT PP doesnt have anyway to view the diff temp that I am aware of. Wanted to know if thats a 16 feature thats connected to the ECU/warning systems? It came up in a thread about laptimes (the person said his 16 had it and alerted about diff overheating)
I need to know this urgently as I...
I want to push out the shocks purchase till Koni Yellows arrive so I can better decide whether to go those Vs the FRPP dampers which are reasonably priced.
Any thoughts on how the car drives with the SP083 springs and stock PP dampers?
Here is what happened. Skip to the bold part to jump to what I ordered.
I have mixed feelings about this forum. Its causing me to save money, at the same time spend too much money. (that said, parts for Stang are significantly cheaper than the parts for my previous BMW. The exhaust alone was...
