I've got the springs and will get the yellows at some point.
Wanted to hear what people thought of this combo.
On road, bumps, autocross, twisties etc...

I also have a bunch of BMR bushings/lockouts and sways - the car is a lot tighter.
Excited to get the dampers and complete the suspension build.

using Konis with SP089/SP082. So much better than stock PP, feels more like a luxury sportscar ride. Adjustability is everything.

It should be...which makes it all the more weird that there isnt a single impression on how this combo (SP083 + KY) feels out here in the forum.
Kelly @BMRTech explicitly said that the SP083 was designed with the KY shocks in mind.

The SP083 were indeed intended to be used with the Koni Yellows. (or Bilsteins once those are available)

We run the SP083 with the Koni Yellows...and our SB043 Sway Bar Kit with the front in the middle position and the rear in the softest. Works well!

^^^ Looks good, but I wish it were about 3/8"-1/2" higher in the front...

I am running this combo.

Koni's
BMR Handling Springs SP083
BMR Sways SB043
BMR Delrin Cradle and Poly Diff Bushings.
BMR LCA Bearings.
Ford Racing Toe Bearing

Much better than stock stuff. I think it goes without saying. I will have it to the road course on the same PZero's i did a 2:53 at Autobahn Country Club so I will be able to share results next month when I go. The subjective stuff ill leave out. We all know what stiffer suspension components do at slower speeds.

My baseline will be both bars at full soft. Koni's at one and a half turn from full soft or about mid way through its range. 2.5 degrees of camber in the front and 1.5 in the rear. zero toe front with minor tow in the rear.

As far as drag goes. Will have it to the track on saturday and see if I can beat my 12.8 on stock tires and hopefully no wheel hopping. It still hops a little but on the street but its more of a flutter than a hop.

Here's 12 hour after install. And then washed and a weeks worth of driving.

Thanks! It looks killer. Does it scrape?
Can you share the ride details and if you notice difference in steering response, turns etc on the street?

Agreed. I am worried the drop might mean front scraping for me...:-(.

In 4 results!

If youre going on those tires I suggest putting that rear bar on the softest setting.

Good luck!

The street I live on has table top speed bumps because of the school across the street. Unless I slam into them at 20+mph, I never scrape on them. I even have one of those licence plate holders that bolts to the bottom of the bumper. It doesn't hit.

Honestly look at the photos, there's a lot of daylight under the car. It still sits kinda high.

As far as steering response, no real difference because the steering on these cars is pretty numb. Turn in is noticeably more direct because there is less body roll. The only thing I have noticed thus far is the lack of floatyness compared to the PP suspension. And lack of body roll compared to the PP suspension. Lap times will really tell what these mods did. I just got done with a track event the day before I installed everything hence the numbers on the windows. My next event will be suspension mods only so hopefully it nets good results.
Thanks for the details...i look forward to your track comparo pre and post these BMR suspension mods. Your build is very similar to mine...

Seriously considering this same combo as well.
I just ordered this combo today (BMR 089/082) and the Koni yellows. My Konis will be here tomorrow or Friday. Trying to eliminate some of this bounce. Thanks to Kelly for the help today.

How do you have the konis adjusted?
