How long did it take you to slap this puppy on?? Did it remove any and all slop? Any additional NVH?

MGW was my choice for the 350 after my previous experience on my 03 Cobra. Installed both myself. The improvement on the 03 was more dramatic, because that OEM shifter was complete crap. On the 19 there is still improvement and added precision. No additional NVH. With the design, you press for reverse rather than pull a collar. This allows you more freedom with the handle to set it up exactly as you want it.

Thank you sir! She gets cleaned 3x a week and polished with a quick ceramic detailer and 1x per month she gets a coat of Reload 2.0 (BADASS product)..over kill ,YES but the car is worth it .
The quality is bananas on these!
Looking great!

Did you ever push through with the carbon ceramic brakes?

Hopefully this week the Exhaust goes on, next ESS/ Fueling (prob 30-60 days max), and as far as the brake's rotors go, I'm pretty confident I will end up adding them to the build. I ended up closing an account and they will be my reward, but I need 40 out of the 84 locations to be on boarded before I pull the trigger on them.

Speed Foundry off Buford. The owneer Dana has a 350. Highly recommend!
Where is MGW located? When I ordered mine (long time ago), MGW would install for free.

Insurance will not let George do the install anymore. Ask me how I know.
I guess I'm not surprised. But it couldn't last anyway if business was booming. My impression was that George himself did much of the free installs.

I hope you don't know why insurance nixed it because you sued him for messing up your install. LoL

No I didn't sue, just had to pay someone else to install, but didn't have to drive as far.

Today I finally got my vanity plate in and slapped her on the TreeFiddyAre 😎. Originally wanted “REDVENM,” but apparently somebody else out there is already rolling around with it … I picture a red Viper with it lol.
Honestly though, this one ended up working out perfect. The all-black plate cleans up the rear end so much better than the old white and green plate did. That stock plate looked like Florida snuck a Subway ad onto the back of the car 😂.
Also got the vortex generators installed too (you can see them in the pic). So far I am quite pleased with Verus , quality is great , Customer service has been up to spec. , and the provided CFD on their website site are helpful .. fan if the company at this point :)
Side note: after adding the Verus dual-plane front canards, I noticed the wind noise around the side mirrors at about 80 mph dropped a solid 30–40%, which honestly surprised me. You can still hear the airflow moving around the mirrors since these cars basically have the aerodynamic profile of a refrigerator doing 80 mph, but it is noticeably quieter now.
I’m guessing the canards are helping clean up the turbulent airflow coming off the front bumper and front wheel area before it reaches the mirrors. From the factory, a lot of the dirty high-pressure air rolls straight down the side of the car and smacks into the mirrors, which creates that buffeting/wind rush noise we all know.
The dual-plane setup seems to be generating a more controlled vortex that keeps the airflow attached longer and redirects some of that chaotic air outward from the body line. Less turbulent separation around the mirror housing = less pressure fluctuation and less noise in the cabin. Basically, the mirrors aren’t getting assaulted by as much random angry air molecules anymore …. Which makes me want some sort of uber aerodynamic mirrors but it would have to be large enough for me to modify it so I can retain the Cobra puddle jumper light :)
It’s one of those mods I expected to just add a whisker of front-end downforce and look aggressive, but it actually changed the airflow characteristics of the car more than I expected. Verus definitely spent some CFD and wind tunnel time on these instead of just making “Instagram aero.” Wow I just puked wayyyy more than I thought I was going to in this post lol

Filled up today for $4.739 per gallon for 93. Ordered a case of Motorcraft 5w50 and FOUND AN FL-2087! All in for about $230 (160 for oil, 70 for filter with shipping). Seems maybe this "oil shortage" stuff hasn't hit 5w50 yet? What a fun time to have a Shelby
