Headers and OPG/CS put on.

catless?Picked up the car, went for a ride to “test” it out lol.
Shop said the headers (XForce) are very good quality but the design is subpar and made them harder to install, specifically around the starter and recommended putting some heat wrap on to protect the starter wiring, so I got some and will be putting it on tomorrow, along with a data log to send off and clear the 02 sensor code that I’m sure will pop up.

High flow cats.catless?
What power adder to you have?I just finished changing the plugs and coils today. I used NGK 9510 plugs gaped to .035 and Motor craft DG 542 coils. The car only has 35K miles on it but last year I would get an occasional cylinder miss fire code and it all started after doing a bunch of bolt on power and performance tune. I did some research on why this was showing up without a specific cylinder error and what I found, is that it was probably the spark plug gap being too large if I was still running stock plugs. There is a condition known as blow out that happens if the plug gap is too large the added power blows the spark away and throws a code in that split second. I checked the old plug gap and found that some were as high as .050 but most were .042. They are all .035 now and with new coils I am good to go. I took it for a test drive and no codes, so I think all is good.
