Are you good dude? I'm not sure why you're so emotional about what others have to say about this vehicle. You got one preordered?

You've commented a bunch of times under lots of posts about this. You've attempted to blast anyone who thinks this car is overpriced by calling them names. It's pretty childish tbh again, very weird. Based on your comments, it's pretty clear that you think everyone's opinion is invalid except your own.
Ford has a dedicated team monitoring online forums and YT comments to market their vehicles. They push against any negative comments about Ford, specifically Mustang. It’s astroturfing. Lots of corporations do it.

How does that sell cars?

In this case I don't think it's so much about selling cars, or anything really, as it is about countering negativity about their product.

So, you’re basically accusing some people here that aren’t bent out of shape about the price as being Ford corporate spies?

I seriously doubt Ford is reading any of these comments. And if they are, they aren't doing anything about it.
I probably talk sh*t about the weight of these cars on a monthly basis and no one ever pushes back.

I can't ever justify buying new. I'm diehard blue oval. But if I was looking for something in that price range it would not be a DHSC.

My 2016 F150 XLT Sport, I bought in 2021 for $26,500, $51,240 window sticker, the 2022 GT was originally titled in '23 making it just 2 years old I paid $36,500, $52,070 window sticker. Seeing how fast cars depreciate I can't see paying $175K for that when we all know you can buy the parts and build a DHSC killer.
I agree with buying used cars normally. But cars like the GT350 and GT500 have tended to retain their value quite well.

And I disagree with the idea that you can build a DHSC killer. It's not easy programming ABS and Advancetrac systems, for example. You might be able to build something that is better in one specific performance category, but not all and not nearly as well integrated as what Ford can do.

The car Ford needs to make, is the Toyota GR GT but with a soul. A supercharger, and a better exhaust so it does not ruin the sound. Its an aluminum body, transaxle, SLA front, and is a low slung, GT street car derived from the their GT3 racer with lots of power and torque and weighs in at 3800 even with an entire hybrid system which will probably give it some extreme torque-fill. Suspect pricing is 200-300k. I'm hoping they will make a more "mental version" of it.

If that had been what the DHSC was, I would have been trying to figure out how to get one ASAP. I'm still holding out hope the "next gen" will be a platform that supports that type of vehicle. It should be physically smaller too...
I'd love the GR GT if it just was a naturally aspirated V8 (V12 would be better), no hybrid and a truncated nose to improve the styling. Simplicity would make the car a lot lighter. It would also drive better if the excessive tech was removed.

I seriously doubt Ford is reading any of these comments. And if they are, they aren't doing anything about it.

I had a post deleted from here before. It was a post saying that a mid-engine Mustang was not going to happen, but I hoped Ford would make the S650 a transaxle design to improve the Mustang's grip and handling balance. This was a day or so before the GTD was announced.

100% there are Ford employees that monitor forums. It's a lot cheaper than sending out surveys.

Yeah that tracks. And is fact that corporations do this. So yes, Ford is not above this.

Dark Horse. Don’t care for Porsche’s
There was a time when I fully agreed with you... And there are still many things I don't like about Porsche. But man... It's crazy to think that this Dark Horse SC might make a 911 S look like a relative performance value. I'll refrain from going that far until the DHSC is in some people's hands, though.
