So my current exhaust consists of SW long tube headers, X pipe, and roush axle backs. I love how it sounds at slow cruise and idle but after about 2k rpm it just starts this crazy loud trumpeting and then actually gets quieter when it hits 3k. Cold starts are ridiculously obnoxious for the first minute or so as well and I have had lots of complaints from neighbors. So my questions are
A. Is this because of the axle backs?
1. If so, what should I get to give it a more mellow tone?
B. Is it the X pipe and should I switch to an H?
C. Would catalytic converters help?
I don't mind it being loud, it just don't want to scare the hell out of anyone in a half mile radius when I start it up or decide to shift after 2k
