I like my dog because she doesn't make demands...

How about a twin turbocharged AWD Ford Taurus SHO? 365 hp and torque aplenty, even down low. Then your dog will have his own window.
Sho is nice but no v8 symphony there and not really what I want. Also more than I want to spend. And too big.

Hard to take advice from someone who doesn't know how to separate sentences

Our set up is dog never rides in the GT. Wife has a 12 Pilot and the dog rides in the back seat. Our dog does not shed and I clean wife's interior at least every two weeks. Never been a problem. If your car is the designated dog ride you might consider something with four doors.

My car is not the designated dog ride. He currently rides in both our cars. If I got a GT that would not change. Which is fine bc I take him with me as much as possible.

Thanks all. I'll think about it. If the Mustang just looks too claustrophobic for him back there, I'll just keep my Jetta. It's not a 'Stang and no V8 symphony but fun to drive anyway.

I wasn't until 10+ years ago that dogs all of a sudden started being treated like human kids. Screw the dogs... They are dogs. Buy the Mustang and let them roam the back yard. Hell, my kids (6 foot and 5' 3" fit in my Mustang with no problem at all)

I have no yard. And he likes hanging with us and vice versa.

Keep your Jetta and leave our fine forums. Hard to every read a thread where a man is whipped by his girlfriend . A wife I would understand a girlfriend has me rolling on the floor.

Man I'm usually pretty nice on here but I've gotta say - what were you looking for? Most people on here are gonna tell you that the joy of a sports car is between the driver and the car, not the driver and the passengers' comfort. It's a selfish game, I suppose. I also enjoy having my girlfriend and others ride, but this is MY car for MY pleasure.

Keep the Jetta and invest in the market.
