Of course they do. They are in the business of selling shifters and they will try to convince you their's is the best.

There is no doubt that a solid shaft will have less slop, especially after thousands of miles of use. If it is a concern weld it solid.

But the single best thing you can do to improve the shifting is divorce the shifter from the floor of the car.

Tin foil hat much...

idiotic.

Send it back when you get your steeda so you can have a comparison like touch, feel, make?. I want to hear your thoughts about both. On the videos I can see that whiteline is more harder like plastic and steeda has a bit more flex maybe little bit on the rubbery side?
The videos have not lied to you. The Steeda is much more flexible and leans toward a rubber feel. I can see why the Whiteline may be more NVH prone. I plan to install steeda this weekend.

I am going to send whiteline back unless someone wants to PayPal me 25 bucks and I will ship it.

Ship to Canada? LOL. Do you think Steedas being a more rubbery feel than Whitelines will it contract under pressure? I mean maybe that why it has no or less NVH cause it soaks it up more rather than a harder material to fill in the voids.

My theory exactly. I will be installing this weekend and will report out.

I put the Steeda bushing in about 2 1/2 weeks ago now. It's not a hard job but overall it would be easier to take the three bolts that hold the mount to the tranny out and install the bushing on the bench.

So in the last 2 1/2 weeks I have driven about a 1000 miles and I can confirm that there is no addtional vibration in either the floor of the car or shifter. I hear a little more tranny gear noise but it is so slight I may be imagining it.

Before the bushing I would miss 1 in 4 shifts to third with spirited driving. Since then I haven't missed any and I have been doing a lot of 0-60 runs to improve my launch now that I have confidence I can make the shift to 3rd (i have the PP and the car won't reach 60 in second without hitting the rev limiter because of the steeper gears and requires a shift to 3rd).

I just installed the insert and I must fall within the 5% because I do have an increase of just vibration mainly on the floor of the car during 1-3 gears. It does definitely feel better under spirited driving though so I think the vibrations are just a small price to pay.

Installed over last weekend. Major improvement, I'm now curious about the steed shifter mount kit. Also couldn't find torque specs for the Trans bushing.
I'm also interested in first installing the 2015 Mustang GT Steeda shifter base bushing bracket kit by itself (not with the transmission mount busing insert)? Did you ever get it? Likes/dislikes?

Has anyone installed this with an MGW? I have absolutely no complaints about my race spec, but for for the price I'd be willing to give it a shot in the interest in chasing the "perfect" shifting experience.

Also, Steeda, I love the music selection on your install videos haha

Will this bushing have an effect on the vehicle warranty?

Shouldn't have an effect on warranty whatsoever, you're simply filling a void and it's removable in about 10 minutes tops.

mine was a PITA to remove. The mounts rubber grips the urethane tightly. I ended up getting mine out in 3 pieces
