Just got my STEEDA transmission bushing insert installed on my 2019 BULLITT. Have a few questions regarding it. I seems to have p bad vibrations during 1.6k-3k rpm especially with engine braking. Seems like I’m getting vibrations when I am parked even with the clutch pedal pushed in all the way in that same rpm range. Not sure if these vibrations are related to the bushing itself or if they are related to something else (ie engine or transmission). Any help here would be much appreciated! Outside of nvh, the bushing definitely helps with shifts I guess I’d live with it if this was true

you're talking about the 'flat-V' bushing that fills in the gap, right?

Yes, this one makes a racket. Best is made out of soft material like from Energy Suspension or Whiteline. Steeda's plastic is entirely too hard.

Get your money back.

If you mean https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-shifter-base-bushing-bracket-kit-2015-all-555-7092.html, then you buggered the install.
Gotcha, it’s the first one, I’m gonna see if I can get my money back on it. I’m surprised it makes a racket even with the clutch pedal depressed all the way when I brought my engine up to 2k without being in gear but I’m assuming the vibrations from the motor are transmitted through the insert too? It’s really obnoxious when I’m just cruising in 1st. Just want to make sure it’s not a mechanical issue rather than just the bushing itself. Thanks!

Installed the first one just last week. I have drilled a 1/4 hole in the middle as suggested in cjpony install video, greased it well, and it went right in. No new noises so far.

I used a 3/4” leather/rubber punch. 6 years no excessive vibration issues and that’s with the Full Tilt Boogie trans mount shifter bracket.

It will break in give it like 2k miles. I don’t even notice mine any more.
