There's a $100 mail-in-rebate going on with Stainless power until August 31st.
With the rebate and the forum discount, you can get can get catted SP headers cheaper than the TSP. I'm not going to post the price or who, because I'm not going to advertise exact prices without the vendor's...
With the $100 stainless power rebate going on right now and forum discounts from vendors, I think I'm going to pick up a set of catted headers and try them out with my FRPP sport catback and see how loud it is.
If it's bring-all-children-within-a-2-mile-radius-to-their-knees loud, then I'll...
Aeronautical engineer here:
It's not the amount of air going under the car, it's the amount of lift that's being generated, because more lift equals more drag (called induced drag). Basically, induced drag is like a parachute of air being pulled behind the car.
The amount of mustang being...
Got mine installed this morning! I absolutely love them!
I know this sounds cliche, but maaaannnnnn do they look so much better in person. If you guys haven't seen them in real life, you have to. They're incredible.
No pics as of yet, I'm waiting to put on my suspension next month and then a...
I'd pay the 40 bucks for the steeda subframe alignment kit and see if that helps. Supposedly the subframe can be misaligned up to a 1/2 inch from factory, which looks to be about how much poke you have.
Go with a dark gray/silver. If you're getting them professionally done, getting them color matched to Magnetic would look sick. The dark color with the metallic fleck would pop on a dark, non-metallic body paint car.
I'm out of town but I got the FedEx notification that mine were delivered today! A friend was able to put them in the house for me, but I can't wait to get home and see them!
Now it's just a waiting game for my tires to get here!
They're not on the website but I called discount tire direct and they were able to special order them for me.
They were $276 each but since i ordered them in conjunction with 285/35s for the front i got a $40 instant rebate and a $70 mail-in rebate. All told I got the set of 4 for $938 shipped.
It depends on what you mean by 'bang for the buck.' Coilovers or properly paired springs/shocks/struts will completely change the feel of the car, but tend to get pretty pricey.
So if by 'bang for the buck,' you mean easily affordable/cheap, then I'd recommend something to tie down the rear...
Will these work with stock center caps and lugs?
Trying to make a wheel decision in the next couple weeks and the more I look into it the harder it gets! :headbonk:
Not your fault, Alex! I understand there's nothing you can do, the frustration was more directed at myself since I can't decide what wheels I want haha
So 7-8 more weeks before the 19s are back in stock, but what about the 20s? Same timeframe or sooner? I need to make a wheel decision soon, but would love to see what the 20s are going to look like on the car first:frusty:
Also, does anybody know if the stock center caps will fit with these?
Baer Eradispeed is also an option. Fronts are ~10lbs lighter and the rears are ~6lbs lighter. The fronts aren't available yet (even though CJ Pony Parts has an install video for them?) but American Muscle just added the rears and have them in stock.
They are pricey but pretty much on par with...
This looks fantastic, any estimates on when it will be ready to ship?
I wasn't planning on an aftermarket hood, but i recently got some hail damage and I plan on waiting to get it fixed for a couple months to see if there's an aftermarket hood i prefer over stock.
