As a pilot the comments about noise by airports makes me laugh.
If you build or buy a home near an airport i was your choice to have done so.

You knew when moving to the area that aircraft are not silent.

exactly. neighborhoods within minutes of the state's main airport here... you don't see an uprising about it ever from neighborhoods near it. People live with it and it doesn't even effect real estate. Of course it's a very very big non-liberal area where people aren't fussing over everything too. I can see other places in this country who get upset over every dang thing complaining though, like a very nice brand new 2015 v8 mustang.

Yeah. A bunch of self-centered narcissist teenagers. When they grow up, hopefully they will learn that being considerate of others is the most productive path in life to take.

Ah yes, now I remember why I hate 5.0s and the douches that feel the need to make them even louder. I went through this for years with an asshat next door that owned several, each with a shitty sounding wake-the-neighborhood exhaust. Very happy day for us all when his wife left him and he could no longer afford the house, so he moved.

As someone above said, having an exhaust like this, one that affects others in a bad way, is disrespectful and extremely annoying.

I feel sorry for the people living around you, it must be very hard dealing with such a bitter person such as yourself.

I have bad allergies, like terrible. Guess what I do when someone wears perfume/cologne around me that makes me sneeze and my eyes water for 30 minutes to an hour... I get over it.

I'm sure people can get over a few seconds of a cold start.

how about I come rev a douchey open header bike next to your window on my schedule and you can just deal with it? It will only be for 30 seconds at a time, so you'll have no right to be upset or annoyed.

That's not what's happening here, though. It's a cold start, not an open header bike.

If you have to exaggerate this to make a point you are simply making a bad point. Hell, why not compare it to a jet engine taking off?
