If you are one of the lucky ones who have had your vibration between 50 and 70 mph fixed, what was the solution? If you had multiple repairs done, only check the one repair that fixed the problem.

NOTE: Often the vibration will return, so please hold your vote on the solution until you have driven a couple thousand miles without problems.

Maybe let people vote on what fixed theirs and add another option "vibration came back" so we at least know what initially fixed it. If it comes back, that is also good info since it suggests a recurring part failure.

Good idea, but it doesn't look like I can edit the poll after voting has started.

Drive shaft re-indexed at rear flange to align marks.

first cool morning when I hit I-75 soutbound with less than 2 miles slow driving before getting there I experienced a vibration @ 60 or so to 80 or so. Turns out the weather warmed up and it was only tires were flat spotted overnight with the cool temps.

Ford bought mine back after they replaced everything in the driveline including the rear differential.

Had drive shaft replaced,no difference.Changed clock position on rear drive shaft to pinion flange (re indexed) 3,000 miles ago vibration gone or 95% gone.
Tried 5 different positions,makes a HUGE difference.

Figured I'd bump this back up to the top. I have the vibration and I'm super paranoid about letting the dealers touch my car. Every time I've had it in for anything it comes back damaged, so I'd like to fix it myself, and just looking for what the most likely cause is.

Visiting the dealer tomorrow to show the service manager what my car feels like on the highway. He road tested my vehicle after hey replaced the driveshaft and said its good.
It is way worse and it hums around 86 kmhr.
We will see what he says.
Unfortunately for him iam a dignostic tech and have access to a vibration analysis tool and software which i have alot of experience using.

Also noticed a water leak in my trunk spare tire well that needs to be looked at.

What exactly is the procedure to square everything up? I'm gonna be jacking mine up in a week or 2 to have a look and want to fix this problem. Probably a dumb question but when I'm messing with my $40k plus baby, I wanna make sure I do it right.

New driveline and rebuilt rearend. A dealer that I'd familiar with the issues helps as well.
