Had drive shaft replaced,no difference.Changed clock position on rear drive shaft to pinion flange (re indexed) 3,000 miles ago vibration gone or 95% gone.
Tried 5 different positions,makes a HUGE difference.
I've had a reputable shop change gear and posi unit on my 18 GT got it back with vibration At 60+ mph clocked my aluminum driveshaft no good replaced with original shaft still vibes but not as bad as the orig is taken up the NVH. My question to you is how do you clock it 5 different positions?

The driveshaft can be bolted to the pinion flange in 6 different positions (60 degrees apart)
Thus, from original location, you can clock it 5 additional positions.

I'm sorry to say "what fixed my vibration problem" was to sell my 17GT and buy a 19GT.

Because the rear of the driveshaft is a true CV joint there is no phasing of the driveshaft to consider, correct?

If you are one of the lucky ones who have had your vibration between 50 and 70 mph fixed, what was the solution? If you had multiple repairs done, only check the one repair that fixed the problem.

NOTE: Often the vibration will return, so please hold your vote on the solution until you have driven a couple thousand miles without problems.

The dealer rebalancing the shaft per the TSB made it noticeably better.
Later, replacing the tires with Michelin PSS once they wore out made another noticeable improvement.
At this point I can still feel it at 51-54 mph, but if I never knew it was there I probably wouldn't notice it.
