Just got done on the dyno. Great day on the dyno! It really needs to see a load dyno as it is not getting enough load up top to keep going... Regardless its making some power!!! I will get a video edited and uploaded soon

13lbs - 806rwhp / 786rwtq
8lbs - 675rwhp / 651rwtq

This is why you go turbo. Run around with high 600's on low boost for the street, and put some tires on and turn it up at the track ! Nice setup and numbers

I would be the TQ would come earlier on the road due to the weight of the car. Or put her on a load dyno. Turbo needs loads to wake up.

You've done a GREAT job installing everything. Congrats!

Damn dude!
Seeing all these TT cars in action is killing me(with my car down).

First a car running 10.6 out of the gate.

Now you got me thinking the fuel system when I had sworn I was going to avoid it in this car.

How does it run? Like stock?

I know E85 is good for these motors(it has saved my 12 on more than one occasion when it went lean)... but 800 rwhp on stock internals?

....Then why did my piston explode ?.I know I had boost spike.I am not sure how much ?? 15 psi may be .

I only had 93 in the tank but my guy said the damage did not seem to be from a lean condition.

Car drives like stock. Sound is very quiet. If you keep your foot out of the throttle you would never know it is making close to 1000hp at the motor!

The fueling, especially with E85 is critical...

Finally got the video edited and uploaded...

Very nice!
..and love the wheels.

Can you remind who does your tuning.

Do they do remote tunes(as in street logging) by chance?

And this is on stock internals?
It's really similar to the SC cars at 700whp as far as the motor is concerned. At those power levels the SC probably takes around 100whp give or take.

Someone with a Boss made 1080whp on a stock motor. But only turning 6500rpm and thru a manual. If you can keep the cast pistons alive and not split the cylinders a 2015 may be able. Probably won't last long tho.

And to the OP, that car looks sick. And great numbers

It's the piston and rings that worry me, since they're not made for that extra heat and boost. The rods and crank may take it for a while, but the weakest link is the rings.

Keep it rich, don't push it with timing and make sure there is no knock. I think the key is the tune at these levels. As well as not hot lapping and just making sure the setup is running good.

Can you post (or edit 1st post) to show your full mod list?

I've got about $15k to drop and would like the same HP with a bit of reliability and traction.

Well, he just did a major work in his fuel system. Nor Sure $15K will cover everything including the new fuel system. Plus he did all the labor himself.

While not twins (more expensive). I have parts list for Whipple + E85 + fuel system for $12k. Then you need OPG, timing sprocket, headers (not with turbos), converter, half shafts, suspension components. $15k is a lot and go a long way, but it goes quickly. Especially when you look at maxing out a Hellion kit is near $13k + half shafts + suspension components, you're over $15k.

Sure you can do Hellion (base kit) + half shafts for $10k, but if you want to take advantage of it all to its fullest potential, I think $20k is a better number.
