I see the 0-60 times for the 2015 GT should be around 4.7 or so. No matter how I try I can't seem to get below 5.0. I have turned off all the traction controls(Held switch for 8 seconds until all is turned off) and it still seems to dog at take off. I thought my tires should spin more but they don't do a lot from a dead stop. Just seems to loose its poop if I dump the clutch at 3000 RPM, nothing more than a chirp. What am I missing? It's a 6spd.

Thanks

With a 3,000rpm dump it should be a spin fest bud. What rear gears are in it? Even 3.31's should spin no problem.

That being said these timers are a bit off (slow) and so I'd try to time it manually with a gps just to see how far off it is.

Ride the clutch out at launch to prevent either spin or bog. Not good for the clutch, but it will give you the fastest launch. It will take practice.

Yes 3.31's. When I dump the clutch at 3000 RPM I get a short chirp and everything seems to almost come to a stop then it takes off. Almost as if the track control is not turning off even thought it shows it is?

I'll try working the clutch and see if that helps.

Thanks

clutch protection from ford. You need to have it removed with a custom tune. Some seem to be worse than others, seems like yours is pretty bad.

has anyone verified that the track apps timer is 100% accurate versus a stop watch.

Take a look around the area you live. I'd try & find a road that's made of concrete as opposed to black top (asphalt). I can launch harder on concrete due to the better grip....black top spins the tires easier.

Use Launch Control, and feather the clutch.

I used the track apps in my '14 GT at one of our local dragstrips earlier this season and it was off by several tenths and several MPH, so it's just a toy for fun, not a very accurate tool, IMO.

Just curious, does the timer start as soon as the tree goes green or does it start as soon as you move?
