You have a couple of seconds to pull the handle after locking to verify. Touch the lock notch, then pull the handle and it won't open. This way you can rest assured that it's locked. Hope that helps a little

I am surprised at how much I like this car... I am also a GM/LS motor vette guy and while this car is not replacing the vette for me, it seriously changed my take on Ford and mustang!
