My plan is to do my own oil change at around 2500 miles. Using a Motorcraft FL-500S oil filter and Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend oil. Will let the oil drain just long enough until it's a slow drip, then install the new filter and install the drain plug and fill it back up. Not going to let the oil drain over night like I usually do on my vehicles, since I don't want to take a chance of the hydraulic lifters bleeding down, which could be the cause of the "tick after oil change". Don't know what else you can do. :shrug:I was going to change it myself as really my last two dealer oil changes have been botched. Options and what to do?
