i've been super lucky with police so far, 7 months in. No pullovers at all. Not even a look from a cop (I don't have front plates either).

When I worked in Georgia, I got clocked at 110 after at least 10 hours of driving back from NYC in south carolina, and got a huge speeding ticket but no points or arrest. Thank goodness the cop saw that I was driving back to base

Cool story! I got pulled over once, 2001 mustang, and got a ticket along with a " nice car." He was serious, but I really do believe that was the one time I wasn't speeding when I got pulled over. A good attitude works wonders in general.

Im from Tampa, and whenever I take that drive up or down 95, cops in GA are thick as shit. You can't go ten miles without passing a parked cruiser.

Well, I can assure you that it happened exactly like I stated.

On the trip down to Florida, I looked down to see that I was going 90!!!! I had no idea. I immediately set the CC at 80. Always go 10 over the posted limit......always.

The thing is, these cars do not feel like they are going that fast. In fact, there were people passing us when I was doing 90 on Saturday.

I did remind my wife about the speeding regulations in our state. Thing is, she did not intend to go that fast. The car just accelerates so easily that you don't realize how fast you are going until you look at the gauge. Plus traffic around you is flying too........some slower, most just as fast, some faster.

We had one Lexus pass us like we were sitting on rails at one point. I looked down to see I was doing 85 at that moment.

Aren't there some places in the US where the posted speed limit is 90? I used to live in Florida and Georgia before moving to Canada, and could have sworn some of the interstates had really high speed limits in certain areas.

I am 55 and have never speed limits posted higher than 75 in Georgia.
