Guys, I am editing the post because I thought this was a place where I can express my concerns and discuss things about 2015 mustang. Granted most of my discussions referenced issue I had with my vehicle. I was hoping to find other people with similar issues in which I can get my issues resolved.

Most would rather bash me saying my issues aren't valid or in some way I have caused them. For that I am removing myself from posting on this blog. I doubt I will be missed as I am sure I clutter up the feed with my problem. Thanks to everyone who truly expressed concern towards me.

If a mod would like to suspend my account please feel free.

I am baffled by how stuff like this can happen to the same person within 2-3 months of buying 2 identical cars?

I really don't understand. I have bought over 25 new Fords, all of them new but 3 of them. Nothing like this has ever happened much less twice in 2-3 months.

I read the thread about the OPs original GT catching fire, even before I bought our GT. Now I am mighty curious as well as to why Ford did not cover a total loss on an otherwise stock vehicle that they manufactured that caught fire @ random?

is there more to the story of the vehicle or did I miss something while reading that thread?

Cause it seems cut & dry...that if my ride catches fire and is completely destroyed & all I had in it was a K&N drop-in filter, that someone is gonna pay for it.

And it wasn't going to be me.

This reminds me of that person that constantly blames others for their misfortune. You're the only person I have seen having such a situation. Could it be that you were dealt two bad situations? Absolutely. Is it likely? One could argue. Good luck with everything. Sorry you've had a bad experience. I guess I'm one of the lucky few who has had a fantastic experience in my '15 and the other 3 Mustangs I've owned. Fords alright in my books.

Yeh I mean no offense but every single one of OP's posts here except 1 about the radio, 34 of them total so 33, are ALL complaints about both cars. Something is off with all of this. It's possible to be that unlucky to have issues, the first car burn, and now a 2nd car with tons of major issues, but not probable.

Im a die hard Ford fan as well. All 3 of the Fords i have bought new had issues (my 2011 V6 had transmission issues, 1st year of the 6R80 in the Mustang, my 2011 Taurus had issues with the AC, and issues with the Leather, and my 2015 Mustang is at the dealer getting the entire dash replaced because of bubbling on one of the pads) But i don't mind, because i always look for the good in cars rather than focus on all the negatives. No car is perfect, and it never will be, but you need to stop looking at the negatives and enjoy the positives. If you keep dwelling on the small issues then you'll never fully enjoy the car.

Bottom line, learn to live with some of the issues and overlook them, or else you'll always hate the car.

it is a $40k not a $400k car, having said that, there are some things I would say are unacceptable. Noticeable gaps in body panels, mechanical malfunctions of any kind especially to the safety and drivability of the car, and poor quality of materials to the point where you see pieces fall off or wear quickly. I have yet to experience anything like that. Worse thing I have seen so far is the pony light fall out of the mirror.

All 3 of my S197 Mustangs had multiple quality issues/early failures that Ford took care of the small stuff. I almost didn't buy my 2013 GT because of the issues with my 2010 GT.

With 12k miles on it the left caliper would randomly grab & put you into the lane to the left if you didn't have a good grip of the wheel. - Ford refused to fix, said it was normal.

It was an early build 2010 & 1st year of no gas cap. Gas would leak out after every fill. I even had a side marker light melt off the car because of the fuel leaking on it. - Ford refused to fix, know issue but no fix. Ford change the design of the quarter panel from what I was told.

The last time I drove my 2010 GT is when I took it in for the brake issue & I refused to take the car back until the brakes were fixed. The dealership ended up buying the car from me since Ford would not authorize a caliper replacement.

I don't blame the dealership and have bought 2 more Fords from them since then but I know 1st hand corporate Ford is not likely to stand behind their product.

I have to agree that new cars have problems. It's a fact of life it's a mechanical item built by humans. But we have warranties. And ford should stand behind it. He clearly has damage or defect to his new top. There's really not much user error that can happen to cause that the damage. Ford should stand behind it.

Can you describe the "vibration" above 40mph? Do you mean vibration in the steering wheel, or the driveshaft area? maybe tires need balancing? Is the vibration felt at the gas pedal also?

I feel certain the dealer will fix any problem you have, you just have to be polite and patient with the technical staff at the dealership. Just go back to fix one thing at a time. If you have 4000 miles on the car, and suddenly the ABS does not work, they probably need to fix that. (please look under the hood and verify no animals chewed any wires. Is you car garaged? I know it's a long shot, but I do own a car where wires for the ABS were chewed and the abs does not work on it.)

You might could just unplug the battery, wait a few minutes, the reconnect and some of the problems might just fix by itself. maybe it just needs a reboot of the electronics. I will agree it can be unpleasant to go repeatedly to see the service advisor and become their enemy and even though it may seem awkward at first, just politely allow them to fix the car and act like "oh I understand, it is a new model year". Try to be empathetic and do not come across like you are making an extra fuss. If the ABS is broken, this might wander into a lemon law type of situation.

Edit: there does exist someone else with a convertible who did have a laundry list of issues but his list was different than yours.

TBH I didn't even think to pop the hood. I figured it would be best to just take it and avoid any finger pointing.

I am very meticulous and notice a lot of small imperfections that a lot of people don't. I am not trying to be rude but I want people to know that there is obviously a huge quality control issue with a good portion of the mustangs.
I don't understand this statement.

How does "being meticulous" and "noticing a lot of small imperfections" equate to "a huge quality control issue"?

For what it's worth, my car is probably not perfect. I honestly haven't looked at it that closely. My wife's not perfect either, but I don't love her any less for it.
