Ok not sure why I feel a little inadequate after seeing those pics:hail:! Anyhow I can see a little oil seeping by after a few years with the car or maybe driving it hard but this early or low mileage I just don't see it as normal:shrug:

Just letting everyone know that I switched to rotella t6 and the smoking I was experience has yet to come back. Haven't touched the idle yet and probably won't unless it does.

Tired of seeing bigger turbos when they aren't on my car! That needs to change.
All you gotta do is ask! I start tuning on our kit this weekend, so should be able to post some results next week.

Just wanted to chime in. I'm having the same problems. I've got an aftermarket DP and a tune. I changed my oil at 3k, now at 4800 miles. Still a prob. So at this point, is it wait and see?

FYI, in general:

Blue smoke = burning oil

Black smoke = excessively rich AFR

White/gray smoke = burning coolant, trade it off ASAP

What do you mean trade it off? The car? The pipe? The coolant?

White smoke is seen when your head caskets are blown. The whites smoke indicate that a engine burns water/coolant. Not talking the white smoke at cold starts and in the winter...

Neither am I I'm not talking about cold starts I'm talking about driving for a while then idling & getting the blueish smoke with a burnt oil smell to it

Strokers, are you following this thread? It seems to be tied directly to aftermarket DPs. Unless the others on the thread experiencing the exact same thing all have blown head gaskets.

Good luck with that. I wanted out of mine, but the most anyone will give me on trade is 28k...for a car I payed 36k for a few months ago. So, I am married to it for a while until I am at least at the break even point.

Hey mbreinin I know this side steps the point of the thread but did you want to get rid of the car?
