I am interested in doing one of these, my only real concern is how well this kit is going to hold up over time as this will be on a car that gets driven basically daily, and a good distance. Those low mount Precisions have me somewhat stressed out.
#3. Motor had 4,000 miles. I was logging late at night in early January 2015 for a track day the next day. 93 tune from Unleashed, JLT CAI, spark plugs. No other mods. Made two clean pulls. Rolled into WOT from 40 and it exploded on the upshift at redline. Windowed the block and I found the...
I have run Rotella, Mobil 1, Castrol and even the Motorcraft blend with either a Motorcraft or Wix filter. My engine has 109,000 miles on it, most of those tuned.
I drove with mine like this for a long time, longer than I care to admit. I was at the point where I could not start the car without adding throttle. I would actually keep it running while pumping gas to avoid the issue. I finally changed it and all is cured. I changed it because, aside from it...
Modern metallurgy means that engines are broken in within about 5 minutes of being driven. You don't need to break in a turbo, either. I am sure people will try to claim otherwise, since break-in is a topic with differing opinions.
I installed one and since the install I have not seen any of the dreaded burned oil in the exhaust from my catless DP. I had the car idling for an hour and a half yesterday and there was not a single puff. I did not expect that, but it is a welcomed outcome. Much easier than a catch can.
I asked Adam about this a little while ago and at that time there was no control package available. Not sure about now. I would love to put one in an SVO (I have had 3) or a Merkur XR4Ti (had 2 of those).

Well, if you want GT beating performance that is obtainable from other tuners. It is really not that hard to beat stock GTs with a mild bolt on EB. Straight line, of course. The EBM with PP is a superior handling car than a GT.
These Ford tunes are rarely worth the expense. I ran the Pro Cal on my GT and it was terrible...and it pinged. Ford called that "cat impingement," LOL. I know, you want to keep your warranty, and that is a valid basis for using this tune. However, don't expect good results.
You believe that the single bucket will give the stock HPFP enough headroom to run pure E85, or a percentage in excess of E50...or will you need an auxiliary fuel setup or an upgraded HPFP? Because, your response makes it sound like that is what you are saying.
