Funny, I just sold my BS3 running 160's on a car. (Street car, AC, idled at 750rpm etc) Now I am running a much smaller motor, however swapped to a ProEFI system and actually do have a set of ID1000's for it, but the have no better idle characteristics then the 160's did. Literally ZERO difference.90% of the guys on here have no idea what your talking about when you say 160's ?!?!? What's that. They only know so much from a certain point in time.
I remember the 160's..... Hell my coupe has a set of hand assembled engineering samples in it!!!
Any GOOD tuner can tune ANYTHING no matter what injectors are in it. That statement by "process" is laughable at best. I'd stay AWAY from a tuner that "won't touch anything that doesn't have data provided"
I have ZERO injector data on my 160's and I tune the car just fine with bs3. Maybe I'm a super genius!!!! Or maybe, juuuuust maybe it's not that hard!
