its a good idea to get a f/p gauge for e85. just to see how much f/p is dropping

from what we've seen on the 11-14 cars, the f/p will drop to around 40psi from the static 55. the id's will usually hold the a/f still up to about 700, but they are def dropping pressure

will be interesting to see where these top at.
Which will probably be the case with the 2015. From what I've read the 2011-2014 runs a 385 lph pump stock, and the 2015 is a 405. So this may give the 2015 a little more head room on E85, perhaps another 25-40hp.

So you think the D1SC will get me 800-900rwhp with headers and exhaust on E85
With a STG2 system, that won't be a problem. :)

The HO system uses the stock crank pulley, so its hard to get the blower up to speed without an overdrive balancer. (like beefcake did on his vortech) However at the price of the balancer, you might as well just do the STG2 system for basically the same price. :)

What's the time frame to ship a stage 2 satin?

Need it in a hurry. I need to call in a forum favor!

I ordered a D1 stage 2 with a black head unit. I ordered it late on Feb 23rd, it shipped yesterday and is scheduled to arrive to me tomorrow. So I'd say it's roughly 2.5 weeks from my experience.

yep, you'll have a couple routes you can go.

the stage 2 with the extra pulley on the front, or, an o/d balancer.

with procharger going to a shared drive, you'll have that option as well, on direct drive systems in the past, and the et's we run at, you are required by nhra to have an sfi balancer

ati makes one that is a stock od or a 20% o/d.

the stock pulley will take you very far, with the 20% od, the numbers you want would be very easy.

or, you can go to the stage 2, just depends on if you prefer the shared drive or not

The fact that you said "satin" will help you out.
I will run and talk to inventory control and see what the back log is.

If you said "black" I would say about 2 weeks, since I know the back log on that system was pretty crazy in black. :)

I will report back soon.

I think black should be the default color at the standard price and make chrome extra cost. I can't think that many people want satin anyway.

Two things go into that equation.

1)
While some companies use their closet (local) powder coating company.
We have decided on the company that uses this black texture on an OEM Air-Cooled Engine. This means not only is durable up to OEM standards, the matching of color is perfect, but also the heat shedding is up to par.

The downfall of this, is that the company is located halfway across the country from us, and we all know how long large loads of truck freight can take to get there and back. So that lends to a bit of a back log, no matter how many it seems we send there. (remember we have to send every bracket, and spacer, and blower, for all the cars/trucks we offer black finish for. HEMI, GM, JEEP, FORD, Etc.)

2)
And as much as you would think black would be the king. It really is a split decision it seems. Some people just want the performance, and could care less what it looks like, since they hardly ever open the hood. To others the black is well worth the extra $$$. Polished is the rare one.

I've had the HO kit on my car for a little bit now and it's awesome, but my original plan was to have around 700rwhp. What pulley would you recommend for the HO 6 rib kit and at what point does the belt slip become an issue. Also what is max boost before belt slip on the 6 rib before I would have to upgrade to the stage 2 drive and d1 etc?

There is no slip issue at all, well not that has been reported by the cars making over 700rwhp so far.

The issue is that the factory crank pulley is pretty small, which is used in the HO system. And we only have pulleys down to 3.00"
But even with that in mind, the HO system can still over spin the blower.

So here is how this brakes down if you shifted the car at say 7,200rpm.
Remember the max redline of blower speed for P-1SC-1 and D-1SC is 62,000rpm

EXAMPLE MAX BLOWER SPEED: (On HO)
Crank Pulley = 6.60"
Blower Pulley = 3.00" (smallest blower pulley we make in 6rib)
Max Blower Speed = 64,944

EXAMPLE MAX BLOWER SPEED: (STG 2)
Crank Pulley = 8.00"
Blower Pulley = 3.40" (smallest blower pulley we make in 8rib)
Max Blower Speed = 69,458

What is the blower speed @7,200rpms with the H.O. Kit 6.60 & 3.85 pulley?
