This thread started August 2 2012, the day after I retired, hard to believe 14 years ago . Like a blink of an eye .... My name is J I've been a member for 2 years , my previous S550 a 2021 GT Premium ( my 1st Ford car, Chevrolet enthusiast) , I had for 6 months and then purchased my 2021 Mach1. The moral of my post is " Time passes with everyday being wonderful." even with life's bumps on our journey.

Hey I’m James from the Carolinas. Got my 2019 GT PP1 back in September. Wasn’t even looking for a car. But I bike ride every morning at 4:30 am and I always pass a Ford dealership. One morning I passed and this thing was sitting on the dark front lawn, jet black and covered in dew. Hunkered down in the grass like it was trying not to be seen. I knew right away that was my car.
Runs great. Had some tire wear issues but I have them fixed for the most part. Still need to get some camber arms and plates but that’s for another paycheck.

Hello everyone, I'm Michael, thought I'd finally introduced myself. I'm from Palmdale, CA (Shit state) and I bought my 2020 GT Premium PP1 in March 2025 and it has a few mods (in sig). I love this thing so far, and I'm definitely not done with it yet, this is my 6th Mustang and definitely wont be my last. Looking forward to chatting it up and learning some things lol.

I've got a 2009 Mustang, I've joined this forum in hopes of assistance with a project involving the 18+ digital cluster. I intend to retro fit this into my 09. I already worked out 13-14 IPC(minus TrackAPPS) in an 09 with the help of slonison! So I've got some experience under my belt already!

Thanks for allowing me into the community!

Been a Mopar guy for decades. After having the hellcat being stolen and not liking anything on the used market for mopars and having a dedicated race charger I took the plunge.

Fun car so far, very impressed after 3k rpm in the power band. Only mod is an intake and I tuned it myself. Right now fighting readiness monitors. Stock file + maf data and they wont go into ready. Quite a lot of miles driven recently too.

I can't remember if I posted in this thread before, but when I first joined this forum, I was right about to order a Comp Orange GT PP... I took delivery in October 2014, within the first month or so these cars started landing. Her name was Samus, and here she is with me at Texas World Speedway:

I fell in love with the platform over the next seven years, but just wanted a slightly faster, smoother, sexier version of the same car. So I traded in Samus and ordered my 2021 Grabber Yellow Mach 1 w/ Tremec. Took delivery of her in Feb 2022. Still have Daisy today, and this is probably a coffin car, along with my 718. Here we are at Texas Motorsport Ranch:

I don't see others doing it, but I'm not just a Mustang guy, I'm a car guy, so here's the rest of the stable. Stang is my daily and occasional track toy, 4RS is the primary track toy, RS3 is the wife's:

Chris here, thanks for the knowledge I've gained here. Hopefully I can give a little back from my own experiences with the Mustang platform.

My past mustangs were a 70 sportsroof that I had multiple engine transmisssion combos in and an 89 hatch with Cervini Stalker body, a complete Griggs Racing suspension, 347 stroker, Baer brakes and a 6 speed Tremec.

My current pony is a 2018 GT PP1 1080 magnetic grey car that has a few mods.

Steeda supplied the cold air intake, H-pipe, tubular K-member, coil over front and ride height rear with the adjustable struts and shocks, swaybars/endlinks, Stop the hop kit, every control arm replaced with ones that have bearings, upgraded front knuckle kit with the larger bearings and the GT350R brake conversion kit, new hubs were installed in the rear as well. Also their functional race wing with aluminum end plates.

BMR supplied the camber arms/camber lockout, toe links, vertical links and LCA bearings.

QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft. (wasn't going to do this but found it at Summit for 1/2 off)

Mishimoto radiator and overflow

Velgen 20x11 rims with Nitto 555 305's on all 4 corners.

777 GT500 front conversion with M&P Concepts aluminum GT500 hood, I have the 777 GT500 splitter on the way.

Infotainment Digital dash upgrade, easiest mod of all, took literaly and hour to install and works flawlessly.

The car is driven 400 to 500 miles a week of both highway and backroads/city. There isn't any NVH that I can tell so far, had a clunk with the swaybar endlinks, adjusted and retorqued and all is well so far. The car is very fun to drive and is getting even better as I am in the process of adjusting the swaybars, strut and shock settings, ride height, etc... here are some pics I will try to post better ones when I get the time
