More power=more heat. Heat is your biggest enemy on track during a 20 minute session.To be fair...there are much better blower setups available now than what you would have on those cars. More efficient designs and much larger intercoolers.
I have 1st hand experience with this when tracking the 2016 GT I had (mods in sig). Several others on this forum have battled it as well. A larger intercooler is going to reduce airflow through the cooling stack.
I really don't want to drop $10k plus for the supercharger and another $10k plus on cooling mods/cut the crap out of my car to make it work.
